What the hell happen to the Honda CRV for 2012. The steering sucks, the power sucks and the gas mileage sucks! And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one to complain about the Honda 2012 CRV.

Here's another fun fact:  The Jeep Wrangler is in the top 5 of vehicles with the LOWEST depreciation.   In other words their resale value is in the top 5 of ALL vehicles--both car and truck.

What a bunch of BS about the Jeep. I sell them and the Jeep owner is probably more loyal than any other. As for the for the minivans. When you sell over 50% of the minivans do the math. The headline for this article was about the most safety problems. Most of the complaints or questions we get are operational not failure. I have been in auto sales for 22 years. Anybody will tell you that todays cars have electronic features than ever. A lot of these are not wanted, needed or in some cases understood.

I sell over 130 new Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles a year. I do not see the amount of problems the you say happen. EVERYTHING IS TRUE ON THE INTERNET ! Yeah right.

My son has my old 2000 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 Z-71 4x4 , he has just turned over 250,000 miles on it in May of 2013. He is a carpenter and loads it with tools and building material every working day and it runs like a striped a-s-s rabbit as the saying goes. 5.3 V-8 ,original engine and transmission . I have a 2008 Chev: Silverado Crew-Cab K1500 Z-71 4x4 and my oldest son has the same truck in a 2011 model. You can keep the rest , PROVEN RELIABILITY IS WHAT WE USE.

And a note on the Jeep Wrangler- Been around since 1941 and they are solid as a rock . Proper Maintenance is the key to long vehicle performance ,Buy American because your investment makes the country stronger and the vehicles better.

I'm shocked that the Camry isn't number 1 on this list.   It has gotten to be one of the worst cars safety wise on the market.    This list is a big joke.

Interesting that no General Motors brands are on the list.  Must be getting better.  Maybe the bailout wasn't so bad after all?

I had a Dudge Grand Caracrap back in the 90's.  All sorts of powertrain problems.  Nice to see that nothing has changed.  And yes, will never buy a Dodge Chrysler product again.

No GM cars on the list and the only Ford on the list was because of complaints due to the too- complicated high-tech stuff

This is the typical accuracy expected of MSN auto.  Raw figures comparing dissimilar vehicles.  In some cases, I think the owners are more inclined to bitch, and that personality buys a certain type of car.  Nonsense writing

I won a free lease on a 2012 smart fortwo, my conculsions were overall it is not a bad car, however it does have some drawbacks.  The engine is really underpowered, the transmission is the useless in the way it grabs higher gears and almost stalls the engine, and forget about driving on the intersate for long periods.  I concluded from day two that it would go back once the lease is up, and it did.  On the positive side it did get 40 MPG on two lane back roads and in traffic, and going two weeks on $25.00 in fuel was really helpful.  The cargo area could hold a weeks worth of groceries and it was the easiest to park.  But beware, it has a 1 year 10,000 mile service that would of cost $250.00.

Wow all mopar brands in the top 5 not really a shocker.  But funny as hell.  I wonder if any of those reliability problems they have might have had helped this like the one where they had to call owner's to tell them to park their cars outside because they could catch on fire even when turned off.
