28 ways to lose your driver's license

Suspending a license for child support is counterproductive.  Things happen, people are laid off.  Unfortunately, it can take time to find a new job.  So how is it a good idea to take away the one thing needed to get a job.  Suspending a license severely impedes the parent from looking for work, i.e. driving to interviews.  In some cases, you cannot even get a job if you do not have a valid driver's license.  Thus delaying payment of child support further.  How does this make sense?

I thought the first and second ammendment were put in place for just that reason.

If the government gets out of hand. (you know like it is starting to do now!!) We the people have the right to get rid of that government.

Now there is a law against that??? Talk about the fox gaurding the hen house.

Ok, Lets recap...Of course, if you commit a moving violation you can, and perhaps should have your driver's license revoked. But some of the "crimes" that are mentioned in this article should raise eyebrows....Like advocating overthrow of the Government??? Not only does this have nothing to do with driving a vehicle, you have a first amendment right to free speech that is being infringed.

Open container: Either the driver is under the influence or not, and the passengers are not in public, so why is this even an issue? They preach to have a non- drinking sober driver, and when you do that, they still screw with the passengers!  Prostitution??? What a person does with thier own body isn't your concern even if it's consensual sex for money. What's next? banning premarital sex?

Tow truck graft: This is when you tip a tow truck driver money to get your car. The cops use the tow companies that charge you a huge fee and give kick backs to the cops. I was in a motorcycle accident, and they wanted $100 to take my bike about a mile and a half to my home that they would have driven right past on the way to thier shop anyway. When people I know offered to go a few blocks to thier home to get a triler to do it for free, the tow driver and the cops all got real pissy about it.  Unattended child: ok, if the kid is like 5, maybe this is a good idea, but they'll still use this law if the kid is 15, and you just stopped for a few moments. Unruly child: so, if your kid is a uncontrollable brat, we'll take YOUR license??? This makes no sense at all.

Dispensing gas into a unregistered dirt bike??? You gotta be kidding me!!! 

Boating while intoxicated: Of course, you should not boat and drive, but it bothers me that the cops think that they should not have to have probable cause to check you for that. 

You still have a constitutional right to be protected from unreasonable search.

 THEY MUST HAVE A WARRANT OR PROBABLE CAUSE TO DETAIN OR SEARCH!!! 

It's pretty clear that these "laws" that are being used to hold your driving privileges over your head are nothing more than a ruse to exhort money from us and suck away a little more of our rights under the constitution.

I suppose that's why they put that overthrowing the Government thing in there.

only famous people dont have to worry, look at lindsay lohan she hit how many cars while drunk. and yet she still has her drivers lic. i hope i win the lotto some day so i can get away with stuff to. people are right money does talk. while regular americans walk.
