10 things credit cards won't buy
Credit cards can be convenient, but they won't buy everything. These are a few of the items that may require some cold, hard cash to purchase.
VIDEO ON MSN MONEY
I bought a car on a credit card with no interest for a yr, paid it off, worked out great .
True, the buyer may have less bargaining power because of the merchant fees (bound to be low anyway, due to the volume a typical car dealer does with credit cards) and then losing the kick-back the dealer gets with the finance company (as most cars are financed to some degree).
Otherwise it's an easy sale. The dealer gets all their money right away, the car is driven off the lot, and the customer will most likely have to use the dealer's service dept at some point.
So, I'm not sure where the MSN writer ever got that idea.
lie...i bought over 200 in lottery tix at christmas time at my local grocery store...
did the same last year too...
as for a car...another lie....not only did i put a down payment (2000) once, also paid for one albeit a used one for 4000!!!
Yall better ask oblamo about that credit card thing...He uses his for anything and everything..
Suprised he still likes to use it...Its been MAXED OUT several Trillion dollars ago...?
ps...You cant spend your way out of debt....lol
Like another poster, I too bought a new car with a credit card. It actually saved me money because of the points I earned and I paid the bill before interest charges were applied.
Here is a once of weed, is it going to be Visa or MasterCard? Would you like a receipt for that?
It sound crazy, but I will bet you it happens allot those days since there are allot of credit card swipers for you phone. Next they will even accept EBT cards.
All credit card companies care is money, and they will allow you to do anything as long as they charge a fee
