If they raised the hourly rate to $15hr it wouldn't matter all they do at that point is raise the products and services up so really there is no benefit.
The US Minimum Wage needs to be raised to 15.00 an hour, so people can afford to live, period.
There are "working poor" at 7.25 - 9.00 per hour. Not good. I saw an entire "camp" of homeless families, adults and children, living in tents, behind a major retail store. There were about 40 of them. I was heartbroken.
The U.S. Minimum wage needs desperately...to be raised...to 15.00 an hour.
