anyone else notice all the best cities are basically the whitest and all the worst cities are the darkest, just an observation?

Not one of these places is in the U.S. I think maybe that should start telling people here something.

If I had the money, any of the top 5 best places to live would work. At least for the next 3 years!

i live in Sydney Australia, and would definitely recommend it. I love it, there is plenty of entertainment, the crime rate is tolerable, the weather is beautiful and you can definitely tell the difference in each season, the people are lovely and welcoming, it has great culture, brilliant infrastructure and a great amount of history, it is also a great place to have a family.

i would not want to live anywhere else in the world.

Adelaide is DEFINATELY THE BEST!! small city - so you don't get lost and you know where everything is, never any heavy traffic, not an over populated place, Adelaide hills are beautiful, weather is  gorgeous (well, not always...), great places to live, very friendly customer service at restaurants an shops, pristine clean and very modern Airport, and sooo many more!! Seriously though, I LOVE Adelaide!! It is a beautiful place to live or even just visit!! I can't express in words how much I adore this place!! It is truly one of God's best masterpieces!!

The best place to live is actually Columbia Wider Area in South Carolina. Here's why. The climate is warm yet still has 4 seasons. It's close to the coast and to the mountains. The climate is not as humid as the mountains and not as humid as the coast. Usually a 30% humidity most days unless its raining. No traffic. No hurricanes, no tornadoes, no earthquakes, no flooding, no landslides, no forest fires, not much crime especially in smaller towns around. Low property taxes, cheap housing, extremely affordable real estate, low cost of living.  Plenty of water, plenty of woods, plenty of things to do. No large predators such as mountain lions, bears or wolves. It is very safe. No need to worry about mineral rights or drought or traffic. No racist tension like in big cities. Everyone friendly. Nice area. You'll like it.

Personally, I have been to Geneva, dusseldorf, and other big cities but find them very gloomy and dark, and high percentage of suicide rate and in these rich cities, horribly expensive, I would prefer to live in Al madina Al monawara, the great city of Islam situated in Saudi Arabia, very delightful city with great of joy and peace and tranquility and richness of soul, and happiness within your inner self and it feels so great to be close to God ( Allah ), one prayer in the prophet Mosque counted as a thousand time in any other in the world, and let not forget the great City of Makah, the center of the universe, it is the greatest of them all, and one prayer there is counted as one hundred thousand times in any other mosque in the world, those two cities and the only cities guarded by Angels of Allah, and will remain always centre of peace and tranquility and happiness.

I like Zurich and Vancouver but both are expensive places to live, and Vancouver and Toronto have terrible traffic.  I would put San Francisco in the top 15, and it also its pretty expensive. Personally I like Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

not one notice of a city or state in the USA..no surprise....our infrastructure sucks...and Americans are really not the friendliest people, unless u are in the South east / west or Midwest.   We do not understand different cultures nor do we want to understand different cultures.

But I still think America is the best country in the world.  I can say the above because of our freedom.
