Not surprising about Nevada. Math and budgets are not subjects Harry Reid is good at,either! It must be in the water.

Funny how 3 of 4 worst states with regards to foreclosures, etc., are those states from which our leaders are from, Harry Reid from Nevada, Obama from Illinois and Biden from Delaware.....just saying

My house in FL was on the market for two years.  It was a beautiful, stylish house in perfect condition and I still couldn't sell it.  I finally sold it to my neighbor's sister who lived up north and wanted to move to FL.  I pretty much had to sell it for a song after 2 years on the market and the buyer got an incredible deal on a house like that.  I wish I still had the house, but I lost my job and couldn't keep up.

At this point. I look at it has paying rent to the bank once a month. My home is worth half what I owe on it. The only ones to blame are ourselves for letting Wall Street Thieves sell us out. Not one of them is in prison.

Notice three of the best states: Montana, North Dakota & South Dakota are in an area where they are affected by the Bakken Oil Fields. Perhaps taking advantage of your natural resources, in this case gas & oil can produce good paying jobs and people can pay their mortgages and have good credit scores. I live in western Montana and many people from our area work in the Bakken even though they live here. They work two or three weeks and then come home two or three weeks.

If that is the case then why is housing prices up almost 30% over last year; there are few houses the average buyer can get (other than cash investors) and new homes are grabbed up quickly!.   Foreclosures may be high but just try and buy one or try and get a short sale..... impossible unless you have a lot of cash to spare!!!
