One financial obligation not to put off is Life Insurance. A buddy of mine recently died and only left his family about 50k.  This wont even pay for his sons college and his family had to sell their house.

You can get a policy for about $25 a month from a place like Life Ant or genworth.  The older you get the more expensive it gets, so why not lock in a low rate.  This is a lesson I learned last year after becoming a new Dad.  You need it and you have to make sure your loved ones are protected.  So if you care about your family don't put it off.

Some of these financial tips are pretty good, but to get this insurance and that insurance can be costly and make you insurance poor. As one who is on a fixed income that is just not a practical idea.  I have a talk with my children every now and then to keep them updated.

If you really love your family you will do your best to provide their needs even if your not around. Whoever is left behind still have to pay bills, put food in the table, take care of mortgage or rent and still finish college.

Well, kudos for providing sound advice.  However basic, these are good steps.

Still, it leaves me feeling  less than cheered as I consider the paucity of (trustworthy) articles explaining how to improve income or derive better results from the money I have saved.  Really, a person who arrives for an interview in casual and sloppy clothing has a far greater maturity problem than can be fixed with a few chapters from Dress For Success.

Perhaps the greater point of this article is that it points people in the direction of advice from professionals who might have good sound business judgement.

MONEY WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH NOT FOR YOU, NOT FOR YOUR LOVED ONES. REMEMBER: THAN MORE YOU GIVE, THAN MORE YOU RECEIVE.    HAPPINESS MEANS LOVE   -   THIS IS ALL WHAT YOU NEED!
