VIDEO ON MSN MONEY
Rarity or exclusivity is always very expensive. Whether it is a classic collector car, a fine antique or a work of art, there will always be a few wealthy people who can easily afford these items. Their rationale to acquire them, however, may not be so evident to the teeming masses of average people who struggle on a daily basis to put bread on the table and pay the electric bill. Personally, I find it strange to spend thousands on a bottle of cognac.... but to each his own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it always will be.
Peace ~
All I have to say is that the people who pay these kinds of prices simply have more money than they have sense. It is the height of egotism for them to pay such outlandish prices for a common alcoholic libation just so they can say that they have something no one else has. What is the point in that? LOL I have always fostered a genuine dislike for snobbish individuals and the folks who waste that kind of money are primo snobs to say the least. Lets see now. How many starving children in Somalia or Bangladesh would $22,000.00 feed?
I am in my 50's. I don't drink alcohol. I have never ingested alcohol, not even one drop, ever. I don't see I have missed anything. I watch others puke all over, crash their cars, stumble, forget, sleep in odd places and positions, hurt themselves and others, act stupid and smell terrible.
Unfortunately,I have been around drinkers quite a bit, from my seriously alcoholic high school to years of business associates. If it tastes anything like it smells on the breath of the drinker, there is nothing to miss.
I was also chaste prior to marriage and faithful for the last 30 years. Idoits who drink and fornicate can be the parents of morons if they like.
