5 brands that could be gone by 2016

Some of these companies are doing well enough to be bought out; others, poorly enough to go out of business. Either way, these names could change or go away.

I hope Alaska AIr remains free. It was a pleasure to fly compared to the mega airlines. Nicer planes, better food, nicer staff. It would pity if they were crushed to the level of the rest of US airlines.

It's Truly sad to see Monopoly's running our nation once again, it's time for a new Teddy Roosevelt to rise up and tell the Morgan's and Chases of the world to go stick it. We will not be ruled by the 1% and if it takes torches and pitch forks to bring them down, we'll do it again.

AT&T should rot in HELL....and our gov't should never, ever, ever allow them to buy DirecTV.   That scumbag entity verizon bought out ALLTEL and essentially killed THE BEST cell phone company EVER......   SCREW AT&T....................

It cracks me up, every time you hear about these mega mergers the first thing they come out with is,'the cost will come down' we all know that's total bull. The costs NEVER come DOWN!

We'll get rid of the Obama brand in 2016 but the cost and pain will linger for years.

I hate to hear that Tyson is likely to buy Hillshire.  Our family enjoys Hillshire, but we will not buy Tyson foods when we can avoid it.  They hired a large number of Somalian immigrants to work at their plant in our town, driving down wages and eventually closing the plant, but not before making sure their Somalian employees were transferred to new jobs in other Tyson plants, an offer that was not made to American employees.

"5 brands that will be gone"

Okay, 3 of the 5 aren't going to disappear, they're just possibly being bought by another company.  You'll still be able to get your Jimmy Dean's sausage and DirectTV channels.  And I'm fairly certain that whomever buys out Alaska Air will still fly planes too and from Alaska.

So in reality, 2 of the 5 might be truly be gone.  Luluwhateverthehellthenameis, is aimed at rich bitches with more money than sense.  Zynga's only claim to fame is making a game that appealed to people with way too much time on their hands.  I doubt if either of them will be missed.

How is a 50% track record considered "impressive" ?

DElta leave Alaska airlines alone  you have screwed up every thing in your airlines to where I never fly with you no more   ,  and as far as the dam tsa   and the new fee just another dam government tax  that the dam government is shoving down are throat   I say do away with the dam tsa  they are just a bunch of idots that don't know what they are doing  , the only ones that do know what they are doing is in san Francisco   its a private company doing the screening at that airport    the fed. gov.  tsa  sure the hell have not made it any safer  its just a false front to make the people think its safer   and to have more dam government employees that don't pay into social security or medicare   every dam fed. government employee should pay into social security and medicare  then the dam idots would not be stealing money from there for there dam pet prodjects
