The author didn't know that Amazon was high tech? Maybe he should've picked something else to write about then...

No surprise about Ford. Has been a leader in the industry since horse were turned out to pasture and engines were used to transport families. Will be for decades to come...even centuries.

I wonder why there was a word about are USA government and ObamaCare, isn't it a company. It is stealing a entire industry from the USA private sector and giving it to the government Union. Talk about state of the art.

High Tech is when we can catch up with the European Market- Smart Phones etc. They have a system in place that prevent hackers from compromising credit cards but, our corporate greed has no time to put in place the "Unit". It cost to much money.  Ever heard of (NFC) Near Field Communication?

Want to fire up your life?  If you do, then buy one of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra full-size pickups that GM is recalling for possible engine fires.  GM is recalling 303,000 certain Chevrolet, GMC pickups for possible engine fires.  If your vehicle catches fire, that is just an ADDED EXTRA BONUS at no extra charge.  LOL.

Nordstrom and high tech do not belong in the same sentence. Most stores primarily still use cash registers that regularly go down. Many times a prior purchase can't be found despite their "personal book" and tag. Employees have very limited use of technology - their computers are OLD and shared by 50 or more people. A retail store having a website or multiple websites does not make it tech savvy.

They better develop those food from air devices soon or the useless trash in our nation won't survive the Global Economy they wanted so bad.

GM makes better overall cars than Ford - hands down.  Don't believe me? Read Consumer Reports or Motor Trend.  I owned 2 Fords and had problems with both of them.  I don't need to get burned 3 times.
