deadliest thing in my home is when I have been eating beans, beer and boiled eggs. That fart will end a marriage.

It takes a human to pull the trigger.

Years ago I heard that the majority of accidents occur in the home, so to be safe I moved away.

throw rugs should be right up there on the list for older people

Most of that was a stupid waste of time. Maybe they will move on to the dangers outside your house for more useless information. Warning, the street has cars.

Regarding #12 about guns:
The only non-half ayssed words in the ignorant spew are "...away from kids..."
Slobbering fools like Bloomberg, Feinstein, Schumer, Cuomo and the rest of the usual suspects are entirely OK, in case of a violent home invasion at YOUR home, with...
"OK, Mister Bad Guy...just wait a few minutes while I get my gun out of its lockbox on the top shelf of my bedroom closet...and remember where I put the ammunition for it....and load it...and......
"AAAAARRRGH !!!!!!  Stop beating me with that crowbar will ya !
I don't have my gun loaded yet !
I can't find my ammo with all this blood in my eyes.
Hey, Stop It----OK ?"

Clean the lint filter before and after each load.  If you cleaned it after your load, then why do you have to clean it again?  Who writes this stuff?  A five year old?

Deadliest thing in my home is my wife's shoes being right in my path in the bedroom in the middle of the night!

#4 clothes dryer fires kill a grand total of 5 people per year.  Ban them!
I bet more people die each year in tragic Twerking accidents.

Scaremongering like this is the #1 reason why we live in a so-called "Culture of Fear" in the USA.  The news media just loves to whip up mass hysteria and gains a certain level of sadistic pleasure out of convincing Americans that every square inch of their world is dangerous.  Extremist political and religious organisations are also guilty of this, but the news media is the most responsible.

That's exactly why most people outside the USA describe Americans as "judgmental," paranoid," "hysterical," "overreacting to stressful situations," and "perceiving crises that do not in fact exist."

Yes, all homes and living life is dangerous. Humans are the deadliest.

The writer, Barbara the blond, needs to learn the difference between in and out of the home. And I have never seen any inanimate object hurt anyone, it takes the stupidity of a human to do that.

What a waste of a companies wages. It looks like most of the deadliest things can be avoided with common sense.
Sep 18, 2013 6:00PM
MSN!!!! Why do you guys write stupid, non-sense articles such as this.
These are all common sense stuff.
I believe it's because you have way to many interns/level entry college grads that need something to do.

Well, to be safe we will have to learn to live without TVs,  Furnaces, Dryers, Medicine, Household Cleaners, and stoves for sure, then there will be only 8 dangerous things.
