I counted seven too but in the article in the beginning he mentioned the three other in the paragraph before the slide show! I think that is what the writer was trying to say. A  little tricky I must say!

What I think is the title promised 10 brands and delivered 7. To quote a long ago Wendy's commercial, "I don't think there's anybody back there." Any editors at MSN paying attention?

No one will go back to Yahoo! if its articles continue to be uninformed crap. The not-so-sad truth is that, as a result of bad reporting, the world will have one less media juggernaut that worships the Democratic Party.

Anyone notice the absence of Comments Portals on all the "bank settlement" articles? Here's mine... it's literally time to bring our Armed Forces in and GET RID of big banks. They caused our financial crises and are cancer in our government. I'll take a bunch of divested little banks with stricty state boundaries and NEW RULES FOR ALL BANKS. Zero tolerance for this latest crap settlement. Hang them if they aren't going to wake up and admit to the destruction of America through corrupt finance.

I hate what they have done to Yahoo mail - I'd like to know who received it well.  Yahoo sucks - their articles are slanted, obviously pro-Gay and pro-anybody who isn't white.   Just report the news, do not editorialize and tells us how we should feel about it.

GOP comeback??  REALLY???  All of those guys who are limping since they continue to shoot themselves in the foot while it is still in their mouths -- is this a "legitimate" comeback so the body of sane folks can reject it / them?

Woods may be "to big to fail." Some are saying, if he goes down, he could bring down the whole game of golf with him.  Maybe the PGA can "bailout" Woods by moving his ball a little closer to the pin. You know fixing the game like the gov did with the banks, etc.

"The Republicans' recent drubbing in the 2012 elections will likely catalyze a reinvention, says Karen Post, the author of "Brand Turnaround." Post believes Republicans will spend 2013 reaching out to younger and minority voters by ramping up social media efforts and recruiting diverse party representatives."

Better that they spend 2013 in GITMO, and not emerge until all their octogenarian billionaire funders are dead and we have their heirs locked up. GOP... it doesn't get more anti-American than that.

Tiger Woods?   You shouldn't do drugs or drink when writing articles.

Can't agree with most of these predictions, except Twinkies and the GOP.  Obama's continuing missteps will energize the latter and there'll be big gains for them in  off year '16.

I hope Twinkies don't come back!!  I bought a box and am saving them, looking for a buyer willing to pay $100. for them in 50 years.  LOL.

Where are the NEW BRANDS fully made in America by Americans earning fair wages with benefits and more than a 24-hour ahead future? Where is the thing we need not the thing shoved down our throats by marketing and media pariah? Where's the thing that lifts us, not stiffs us? Take your fake branding strategies and shove them up your you-know-whats.

lol... an associate professor in marketing from Indiana is making golf predictions on the MSN money website. I am going to go check MSN movies to see if they have any physicists predicting fashion trends for 2013.

[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages ended modestly lower with the S&P 500 shedding 0.3%.

The benchmark average saw an opening loss of 1.2% after Japan's Nikkei tumbled 7.3%. Japanese stocks sold off amid continued volatility in Japanese Government Bond futures as the 10-yr yield spiked almost 16 basis points to 1.002 before the Bank of Japan's JPY2 trillion liquidity injection caused yields to retrace their gains.
