Since when does anyone care what PETA thinks?

I sometimes disagree with PETA's position regarding  animals in zoos. The animals in them are like ambassadors' for their species.  People see them and they care about what would otherwise be a species they'd never have any chance to know about and experience except through pictures and articles. Of course these zoos and parks should be made to provide the most optimum care and environments for their animals.  Any animals in them found to suffering because of unintentional ignorance or willful neglect is unacceptable and must change but I bet you that many animal advocates were first inspired to care about the animals we share this world with by having the opportunity to see them at a park or zoo.

Doesn't anyone find it ironic that a perfume company that was promoting a fragrance called Opium dropped Kate Moss for doing coke?
How about Wesley Snipes and H&R Block...Too soon??

IDK if this applies, but Obama was elected twice on Hope & Change, and just yesterday revealed his true platform...We have no strategy!

There is always a bad apple in the bunch. So one person may have been cruel to one animal. Ok, something has to be done. Good idea fairy says, "Lets put Sea world out of business" "Southwest Airlines you better take those cute animals off those plane or I will stop flying with you!!!!"

WOW, what is the world coming to!!!

I think I will stop flying Southwest Airline if they give in to that BS!!!

My first experience to Sea World was inspired by a plane on the tar mack that was painted like Shamu (Orca) from Ft Lauderdale. My Mom saw it and said "Hay, lets go to Sea world"

Nothing but a witch hunt!!!!

I think I might stop flying Southwest for the simple fact that they caved in to PETA!

The problem with these online petitions is that there's no counter petition. There should also be an opportunity to vote against PETA's agenda and see what the majority thinks instead of just hearing from a crack-pot organization like PETA!

I don't buy something based on who the face or name in the commercial is. Maybe I'm weird - but I understand they are all actors getting paid for a gig. So, would I protest a product because of the behavior of someone paid in their commercials? nope.

One that should have definitely made the list was that freak Kathy Griffin's ads for Zaxby's.

How can you call the Hertz-OJ deal bad? Lasted for 17 years! And nothing bad happened to Hertz because of it, because they dumped OJ before he murdered his ex wife.

How is it we can have people making comments on how some invest their OWN money but MSN, CNN, the so called News channels won't allow comments about Obama or other liberals with little knowledge they have "comments or articles" on?  Ya right, real far reporting.  What a joke and you liberals are still loosing in public opinion!  Communism has never worked.
