Really you guys are going to come down on these guys? Really, as Americans we have a large amount of freedoms other countries and populations don't. Because these particular individuals were able to make it where others haven't you instantly want to hate them. That sentiment is not only unfair but it is also Un-American. Sorry. This country has been built on innovation. Unfortunately most of you seem to think that innovation stops with technology. It doesn't, in fact innovation isn't exclusive period. The nature of the word means to over come adapt: well it's possible to be an innovator on the stock market without a single original thought. Finding loop holes and funding special interest groups that accomplish your goals would also fall under the category of "Innovator".

I have grown so weary of all the people who whine and complain about wealthy people. Many of the people that I know who complain the most will sit and watch TV reality shows about actors and musicians who are multimillionaires, but let a business man or women get accolades, and suddenly they are scumbags who have oppressed you in some manner. Do you know how  many people these CEOs employ? Somewhere along the way, people have to realize that entrepreneurs and business executives do contribute greatly to our society in many ways, including products that we utilize on a regular basis, taxes that their corporations pay, and the people they provide jobs for. Many of them are also avid philanthropists who give a great deal of money to various charitable organizations. Oh, and for the record, I am lower middle class, so no making assumptions that I have a stake in this other than what I have stated.

Wow so many negative people.  I beg to differ with anyone that cries about the wealth of these innovators....I will submit that not one of them actually made a decision to do what they do for money....It was their passion, not their financial driven goals.  They happened upon something unique in their own way.  And the sour grape crowd will piss in the wind with their own crying instead of taking something that they can contribute and making it apart of our world, Btw, I am one of the 10 poorest guys around.

Everyone wouldn't say negative comments if you were one of them... granted, they had money to start off with or it was passed down. But others were entrepreneurs that came up with an idea...like google... talk about giving back. There's nothing wrong with getting wealthy by an invention. Its all about education, look at the schools they went to... education will always be stagnant and unchanging, well, the majority of it until someone finds something new. But its how well you apply it that counts, and how much you pay attention and receive it while there.

An intellectual would not be complaining, in fact they'd be out there pursing and achieving their dreams and accept nothing less. Yes its hard times, but if the amount of people that truly want these things..this power.. then hey, high school is free, scholarships to college are easy to come by because there's a lot out there. Its about having the drive and the will to prevail in these things. Then it becomes the strong versus the weak. Which are you

I often see articles reference top paid ceo's. I think it would be interesting to have an article showing the top paid Frederal employee's and the massive bonus payments they receive.

Come on lets look at the whole picture. I could go on and on about the massive fraud and corruption in the Federal gov. We complain every day about greed but its life  and we should look at all of it not just private sector.

At the beginning and up today, Usa is a socialist nation, the only differences is what people are made to believe by media , it is like any other country, that shows you what they want you to believe in, and hide what make it bad. All countries do... this one is not the exception, We invest all tax dollars to make great ideas and then rich people make their money on it.. simple

[BRIEFING.COM] S&P futures vs fair value: +5.50.  Nasdaq futures vs fair value: +9.00.   A decidedly positive tone in the prior session snapped a six-session losing streak by providing stocks with their best one-day bounce in two months. Momentum from the move had faded overnight, but a bout of buying in the last hour has helped lift stock futures. A positive tone is evident in Europe, where the continent's major bourses are sporting strong gains in the face of a reduced ... More
