So the guitar "expert" doesn't know that "Led Zepplin" is a band, and that "Jimmy Page" was the guitarist?

That Brough Superior motorcycle might have been owned by T.E. Lawrence ("of Arabia").  He owned a lot of them.

Mission Style antique furniture. Completely timeless and dirt cheap right now. I bought three pieces of amazing early 1900s mission furniture from a local antique store for less than $500. (Dresser, wash stand, and hutch. Buy antiques while they are cheap... They don't make furniture like this anymore. (at least any that is affordable)

I have a 1922 Ford Model T and it runs good.

I take it to shows and I always get offers to sell with great $$$ but I'm in it for a while longer. I'm sure I will do very well.

If you don't love it don't buy it. The seller has already made his money.

If you want to invest your money in something that might "appreciate" in value, then make sure you do not buy anything with a "motor" in it. It is sure to only go down in value. Don't buy any car except the cheapest new car that money can buy. avoid all motorcycles since they decline in price before you even "think" about buying one. Do not buy a boat since another name for a boat is " a HOLE"  in the ocean or lake that you throw "money" into every year and throughout the year. Any time you buy a computer its outdated before you set it up.

Remember when the headlight law went in effect and all the Harleys were parked along side of the road with dead batteries, and along came Japanese electrical systems and saved the company from going broke. Harley riders don't want to admit this fact but it is true ,look it up

Karl....spoken like a man that can't afford a Harley.

All of these examples are rare & extreme cases.

Save your money, buy a house and land to put it on because it will be worth more in 30 years than the pile of garbage this article is suggesting.

all the pricing and " investment " strategies , only matter if you know what you are buying and realize that the investment is only worth what you pay for it- selling is not a simple for the bulk of collectables- just the esoteric, owned, by someone famous, extremely rare, and Condition-  paying top dollar at today's prices will probably be harder to sell when you want, art -antiques are not liquid , the profit is only when you find a buyer at the price you think it's worth, that isn't always as simple as it sounds
