Here, I'll trade you 32,500 slightly stale Big Macs for your car.  Old?  Well, you can warm them up in a microwave.  Get real!

jass75,

so what would be fair?

we need the rich to have the type of economy that we have.  Even before big banks you still had rich land owners.  There is always going to be somebody with more than you.  Inventors need to be paid for their inventions, the people who fund their ideas need to be paid for their investment.  Every society that has tried to even out the rewards always has ended up in failure.  Plus the ruling class always ended up with more than their fair share any ways.  Our system is not perfect, but at least you have many ways to succeed.

None of these alternatives solve the inherent problems. They are still going to leave an affluent few with the majority of the wealth and many without. It doesn't matter what is being traded, in a consumer based economy the problems are still the same, with a value being assigned to whatever symbol is valued. The biggest problem facing our society is the system these values are based on... the central banking system. In this system you have a few keeping the many in debt to fuel the system, and keep those few powerful. This system also fuels the majority of physical, mental, and social ailments of the society. Heart disease, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, narcassism, and domestic abuse, just to name a few, are all caused in large part, by the stresses placed upon people by a sytem that is fueled by the people's need for more. This system preys on the average individual's need to consume. Not that we need the things sold to us, but we are sold faith in an idea that these things will bring us a measurement of  "success." Money is the control factor that the 1% have been given to keep us subservient to a system that keeps them in control.
