So basically, its the government and its laws that are causing problems? Sounds like most businesses.
Make it legal and get taxs off it.I would like to see it sold like cigerettes. For the freaked out folks, anyone who really wants it,including your kids, its everywhere.Just picture prohibition.
Its just anouther product wanted by people and keeping it illegal is just letting a potential revenue source for taxs go unused.I figured the government would be all for this idea.
That so called drug war is just a war on personal freedom.
I don't use any drugs unless I need them i.e. blood pressure medicine, but I would prefer not even to need those. I don't see why pot shouldn't be legal and would support actions to make it legal, but I won't use it. It can cause many problems just like alcohol although the problems will be different in some ways. I won't list them in this post.
I know from my own personal experience marijuana can be addictive and just as destructive to your life as alcohol can be. I don't use any drugs that can impair/alter my perception and/or how I feel anymore for the reason I stated above. I prefer reality over being drunk or high.
I know there of you who will save marijuana isn't addictive, but it can be under the right conditions it can be.....
There are many smart and intelligent people who smoke, I smoke, in high school, I had a 4.0 GPA, never was in trouble, and was always in AP and honors classes. I work at a healthcare facility, I have a permanent job, I make a good income, I have health insurance, 401K, and other benefits. Alot of people I know smoke, even 80 year old grandfathers, mothers, fathers, and even the least expected. All who have high paying jobs, work for the government, work for schools, hospitals, etc. Yeah people may think, "They are dumb, potheads", but no, we are smart enough to smoke on our own time, and many of us have our reasons, though it be, for a pain reliever, stress reliever, or for the euphoric feeling. And you never know what it can do, think about it, people with anorexia, glaucoma...etc... As my brother would say, its an herb, came from the Earth... Think about what alcohol does, meth, cocaine, ... Alcohol is legal, think about the people it effects, when you drink too much, you go blank, some get angry, abusive, depressed. Cigarettes cause cancer... If you dont like to smoke marijuana, dont do it, easy as that.
WHY isn't California asking Colorado for guidance on how to regulate the medical marijuana industry? WHY? WHY? WHY?
I think the problem is coming down to smoking and driving.
the amount of THC is differnt for sum people then outhers so what is a fair amount
if you smoke one hour or four hours befor driving. the state of washingtion can give you a dui that costs
you 1000s of dollars for 5 nano grams.thay can throw just about any one who smokes in jail if you
git in your car. So is pot realy legel in washingtion or is it just anuther way for the Gov to take money
from us smokers !!!!!!
"Government Assisted Suicide". My Government says it's O.K. to smoke Cigarettes and drink Alcohol. Two very dangerous substances. And the Government knows it. It kills thousand every day. Marijuana never killed anyone. I work hard and get stressed out every day. Just like most people. I smoke weed in the evening to relax. I watch movies and eat and laugh with my children. My Government says it's a crime to live like that. I won't be a criminal anymore. Tomorrow I will smoke Cigarettes and drink Whiskey. That's how the Government wants me to live. I will slowly kill myself for my Government.
P.S. I'm smoking a bowl right now. Come arrest me.
GIVE PEOPLE A SAFER CHOICE
HEY ! ! Refer Madness was a Move every one ! (((( MAKE BELEAVE ))))
MOST people that have tried it and are afraid PROBABLY TRIED IT WILE DRINKING ALCOHOL so they are not looking at the issue like they should ? IMO .
I use to smoke pot, alot. Also grew weed. Defintely a gateway drug to other, more harmful drugs like lsd, cocaine, heroin. It is pure bullcrap to think otherwise. Simply by association and peer pressure, young people are introduced to other HIGHS. I can remember being in car wrecks and losing track of time, not knowing where I was, on weed. People, marijuana is bad for you. Your brain, bank account, morale, social activities. I personally know people hooked on weed, and can't function without it. For the most part, they are lazy and not good workers or citizens. Yes, of course, there are exceptions, as with all society. My best friends still grow and sell and use today, and they are very good hands. However, these are the exception and not the rule. I know, you think you are in control, space captain, but your not. Marijuana should never be legalized!
Why not? Lets focus on the real crime and not a little pot. De criminalize it at least. Leave the growers alone, spend the new tax revenues, and the money saved fighting it, on something worthwhile.
P.S. I don't smoke, but i do like my beer.
people need to look past JUST THE GETTING HIGH PART of it and see the benefits far OUT WHEY THE FEAR THEY HAVE OF AN IMPENDING ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE !
THE INDUSTRIAL HEMP INDUSTRY THAT WE HAD (((( IN THE U.S.A. )))) COULD MEAN ( JOBS ) & TAX $$$$$$

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 ended this week with a bang, roaring to a new all-time high on the back of stronger-than-expected economic data, influential leadership, and an ongoing appreciation for the Fed's monetary policy support.
The bullish bias was evident in premarket action as the S&P futures pointed to a higher start without the benefit of any definitive news catalyst. Stocks indeed benefited from a blast of buying interest at the opening bell on this ... More
