Amazing. The best run states are conservative and the worst are liberal. Who woulda thunk that?

California is run by democrats.  What do you expect?
Nov 30, 2013 2:36PM
That explains Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, et, al.   Run by the Dems for the Dems.
Every major city run by Democrats for any period of time is broke, dangerous and
ready to blame it all on Republicans. Give it a rest.

So what does California, Illinois and Obamma have in common?

 Democrats, Deaths, Debt & Taxes.

Of course the mentally libtarded states are the worst run. No surprise there and no different than the federal government under Obammy. Socialism just does not work and never has. Sooner or later you run out of taxpayers to pay for the handout libtards/turds.

Another success factor in North Dakota's success is a "collaborative" government.  Republicans and democrats work together.  This state should be an example to WAshington.  Legislators and work together.  They can get the job done.  AND, they can produce a balanced budget.  When Katrina struck a few years back, all you heard was they needed help to deal with the catastrophe.  A couple years later when North Dakota and surrounding states were struck by a devastating snow storm, did they cry for federal aid?  No.  People worked together helping each other out - neighbor helping neighbor.  Did you hear about that? Not likely, because they aren't "whiners", they are self-sufficient people who have grown up taking care of themselves and each other.  Those kind of people get by with less and get more done.  There is less expectation from the government and more dedication to the nation.  North Dakota is a good example for the nation!!!.

The typical member of the Obama sheep herd would be unable to process the fact that the best managed states are conservative and those in the tank are ran by the care taker, great plantation socialists.

It's over.
Get out of Dodge while you can.

I live in a "top 5" state, where a lot of people from California  chose to relocate.  Then they proceed to treat us life time residents like backward bumpkins.  I remind them that the road that brought them here goes back as well.  Truth be told, instead of trying to school the "flyover" states, as the some of the "bottom 5" frequently attempt, they should learn from us.

It's not easy to be green, it's harder to be red, but it's stupid to be blue.  And the proof is in the pudding.  Anyone with questions should re-read the article and compare the politics of the successful states vs. the poorly performing ones.

Why does it not surprise me that California tops the list of worst-run?
Dec 1, 2013 1:45PM

Illinois should be #1 on the list with all it's corrupt officials .

we have Liberal Governess Patricia Quinn,  the obamas butt boy Rahm emanuel , and plenty others .

Democrat=Detroit=fraud abuse poverty crime insanity. And that's how they look out for you the drooling stupid zombie moron democrat voter.

California is undoubtedly the worst run state.  The tax crazy socialist bastard democrats with jackass jerry brown have relegated it to the equivalent of a third world country.  I recently had to let 150 of my employees go from my corporation because of the unrealistic tax structure.  This was sad because one family lost their health coverage and their four year old daughter died.

Where the hell's New York in there? I could wait to leave that over priced police state.
Dec 1, 2013 10:38AM
Pretty much obvious that democrats are clueless and the democrat representatives are masters of cluelessness leaving democratic states broke and wondering if some nice conservatives would explain debt taking and more importantly paying back for the emotionally driven, logic free (as well as simple math failures) inhabitants!

yep .... tell  us something we  don't  know.
Dec 2, 2013 12:34AM
Anything ring a bell here people...the best managed states are Republican states and the worst are liberal scum bucket states where Harry Reid and our Illinois "chimp" corrupt president is way lib new mexico...of course...Im sure Im now a neocon...for pointing out the truth
Nov 30, 2013 12:53PM
