I have commented before that our elected government officials can't relate to the problems the lower and middle income families are facing because of their super wealth.  They have no clue of what we have to face on a daily basis.  The food stamps are escalating like never before and it's not just the very poor.  Middle income families are struggling and are having trouble feeding their families as well.   Quality employment (not just minimum wage service jobs) are so needed in this country.  When our government signed NAFTA that was the end of quality jobs.  Service jobs can not sustain this country and that is what we have become, a service industry.  We have to bring our manufacturing home.  But then big business, lobbyists and our super wealthy elected officials aren't pushing for this because they won't make as much money.  The few people that are employed have not seen cost of living raises in years, yet presidents of these companies are making  millions of dollars in bonuses and incomes, and yet our government is reluctant to raise minimum wage 25 cents.  Something is very wrong with this picture.

Obozos, Solendra is being bought up by two cash cow companies. If it is investagated, i would bet. Nancy Plousy, Harry Reed , Joe Biden and Company are the Investors. They are going to get a tax break. But even worst, the 525 million given to Solendra does not get paid back to Tax Payer's. The Big Scam just got bigger. Of course this will not come out until after the election, because the NEWS people  cover for this Administrations phony crony Capitallism.

Is there any question now why Congress will not increase tax rates on the rich and raise the social security rate above 106,000.00

ORIGINALLY THIS WAS A VOLUNTEER JOB, it has become the most lucretive carrer on the planet. they are the one percent. government of the rich for the rich.

they get everything paid for them as well.

these positions should no longer be paid. anybody who thinks we need 600 rich old men to tell us what to do is insane.

we do not need full time self serving congress.

it is time to revolt, most of us have crap healthcare, they vote themselves the best care ever, for life no less.

I would like to see all of the tax returns of every sitting and past member of the US Congress, US Supreme Court Justice & US President.

Notice the majority of them are democrats, thus Obama should be preaching his Robin Hood Mentality to them and not  make it seem like only Republicans are wealthy. A better way of balancing the budjet would be to make these Joker wealthy congressman pay to hold office and that includes Obama and butt buddy Biden!

How is this a representation of the average American? They don't represent us, they are in it for the money. They don't car about surveying the American people. All of them are crooks and came from wealth. They wouldn't know what it is like to live pay check to pay check and be financially strapped. I would like them all to get out of office immediately. I would personnally like to slap Pelosi just for being annoying.

And no one cares that Ron Paul is being discriminated against politically. He is a physician who believes in his country. He considers the constitution to be the supreme law of the land. Yet the press mocks him at every turn.

Are there any Republicans left in Congress who haven't signed the infamous "pledge"?

Tell us the ones who have the least money - they are more likely the honest ones.

They have turned themselves into royalty, just like the royalty we ran away from in the old world.  Humans are just not capable of resisting the temptation of money and power.

Like I have always said, Republicans aren't the only rich people, Democrats, including Obama are millionaires, and take full advantage of all the tax loopholes and deductions like all other millionaires....

And their benefits, retirement pay, health care and on and on...if all of Americans had their health care we would all have good health and perfect teeth...and then they have the nerve to say they are fighting for the average americans....no, they are dearly trying to hang onto their jobs because they know they could never make that much money on the real world..
