I can't believe Coca-Cola is not above all of those. It "only" had an 80-year lead (introduced 1886) over the Corolla (introduced 1966), and about 100 years over the rest of those products.

The title of this article is misleading.  McDonald's sells about 535 million Big Macs each year.  How is that not on the list?

What about Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Ford F-150 (which in its history has sold far more units that the Toyota Corolla), IBM, etc.

Other items left out of this list--Polaroid cameras; Xerox copiers; IBM Selectric typewriters; Hershey chocolate bars; Bic pens and lighters; Microsoft Office software; and many more just in the US.  Don't these authors do any research before they write their articles, or were none of them trained in fact-checking.

One of the worst articles I have ever read on MSN.

Pretty sure Mars has sold billions and billions of Snickers.

Seems like they picked the most popular items for the list.

MSN these are the 5 best selling products of all time?

Please, I think not. Your credibility is now zero. What a ridiculously misleading article.

Or VW beetles, Pepsi, etc.  I'll say it yet again, when it comes to MSN writers, You just can't fix stupid!!!

I think they meant to say the Corolla has high gas mileage.  Our 95 Corolla finally gave up the ghost with 400k miles on it.

Tech products that are obsolete in six months, really?!
May 17, 2014 3:33PM
More proof that people are just like sheep. They follow the flock. How else could such mediocre products have garnered such massive sales?

I guess I'm the odd one out for this particular list since I have never had an ipad (but we did buy one for our son since they use them at his school).   I've never seen even one of the Star Wars movies, though I do go to a lot of movies and like science fiction, but for some reason, just never became interested in the Star Wars franchise.  Never owned a play station (but my son does have a Wii)   Never owned a Corolla (but my wife does drive a Lexus which is owned by Toyota....oh, and me, I drive an 18 year old Mazda pick up truck), and thankfully, I've never had a need for Lipitor, but do take a blood pressure med.   So, close on some things, but no match for me on any of these particular products.

Please don't take statin drugs like Lipitor.  Although it may decrease chance of death by heart attack, it actually raises your overall death rate by all factors.

I've never owned any of these except the  Star Wars movies, so I guess this article is full of you know what.... His is why I don't some of these

I pad over expensive, in fact all Apple products are over priced.

Corolla over rated, in fact many Toyotas are over rated  in general

Who writes this crap for MSN anyway?

May 17, 2014 3:40PM
It seems the writer just got a brain damage
May 17, 2014 7:42PM
I have an iPad, it's a great paper weight.
