One of the best things I like about Bill Gates is that he doesn't flaunt his wealth.  I loved the Eleven things that he talked to a High School about was things they did not and will not learn in school.  Rule 9 was that Life is not divided into Semisters and Rule 10 was Television is not real life and Rule 11 was Be nice to Nerds, one day you might be working for one,  Read all of them; very interesting and his Rules should be posted in each and every school from Grade to Elementary to High School and especially College.  Brilliant man, don't you think.  Kitty McGouirk

Is it true that 50 percent of Americans are now at or below the poverty line?  Coincidence?  As more Americans become Wal-Mart and McDonalds service workers, we will see more stories of the rich getting fatter.

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 settled lower by 0.8% after early strength turned into afternoon weakness.

Today's headline event came in the form of Ben Bernanke's testimony before the Joint Economic Committee. During his remarks, Chairman Bernanke said premature tightening of monetary policy could stall the pace of recovery. This followed weeks of conflicting remarks from FOMC members, which sparked speculation regarding possible changes to the Fed's policy course.
