Please explain to me where Afghanistan was on this list? How abou Iraq? Honduras must be quite a place. No Venezuela of course unless you are a bus driver. The Central AFrican Republic must be a gem. No Uzbekstan?  I suppose N. Korea is off the list since Rodman went there. What a lousy job of research and writing.

The single most important factor making the world increasingly miserable is the continued explosive population growth.

99% of children born worldwide are brought into this world without the resources available for them to become loved, properly educated, nurtured and guided into a path to becoming productive and responsible adults.

Think about it.

I've never heard of Nagorno-Karabakh. Maybe they're unhappy because nobody know who they are and they have an identity crisis.

The USA will soon be the most miserable country.
My hometown has been a Mexican dump for 30 years now.
It must be that hope and change BS that the democrat party pushes.
As a child of the 50s, I can remember when America was a place to be proud of.

Until we get rid of the liberal mind set in the USA.............the USA should rank in the top ten of the unhappiest. Normal people here are fed up with the LGBT flaunting in media, promoting fat people as beautiful when they are nothing more than unhealthy ugly fat butts and we are tired of a so called president acting like a dictator and lies more than most elitist liberals at that (despite being a stretch).

This country under numb nuts Obama and his liberals make more regulations that are stifling personal freedoms and business.

United States will be on the list one day if we do not get illegal immigration in check and send corrupt politicians to jail and/or the unemployment line.

How many people commenting here have even been in other countries?  Or served this great country by putting their lives on the line?

Not many, I bet.  Maybe a few.

It's easy to judge others if you ain't been there and seen how it is.

Thank God every day that you can complain and insult others like you do here.

"What does it matter" or "First you pass the bill then you read it" attitude of elected leaders today our country is well on the way to being miserable. We have a president who cannot keep his hands out of the federal reserve cookie jar while were being invaded by illegal immigrants. People Killing each other on school grounds, public places and the old are made to suffer with inadequate COLA while inflation takes down the majority. The almighty stock market is only for the rich as poverty skyrockets.

Market index data delayed by 15 minutes

[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market is doing pretty much what it was expected to do today in front of the FOMC decision (i.e. nothing).  The major indices are little changed as traders wait anxiously for the Fed's latest directive and updated economic projections.

Everyone is waiting to see if the "considerable time" language is maintained in the directive after Wall Street Journal Fed watcher, Jon Hilsenrath, suggested yesterday it could be.
