The problem is not with the sexual behavior of consenting adults, what people do in the confines of their own space is their business and responsibility.  The problem comes in if this becomes a cultural change. Christians and others must realize that even God himself could not save Sodom and Gomorrah which was given over to perversion, The world was destroyed by a flood with only eight people being saved. These decisions have very serious consequences. Christians who believe in Jesus can not ascribe these two events as myth or folklore for Jesus Himself validates them in his warning to the world. Pray hard!!!

I tolerate them, I don't celebrate their deviant behavior. I don't think their sexuality should be imposed on anyone.

I am curious why does a group that makes up less than 3% of the population get so much press time, plus their own "week" with the President's blessing.

I'm not really sure why this is an issue.

Every human, no matter who they are, deserve the "right" to persue happiness the way they choose. To descriminate based on sexual orientation is rediculous.  After all, no one has messed up marriage more than heterosexual's.

If we look at marriage as a civil union, which really is what it is, then the church has no business in it. Its a legal contract between two consenting adults, if however, a same sex couple wants to marry in a church with the blessings of a minister, there are more than enough churches who are available to accomodate that desire/need.

Let consenting adults do as they wish, no one is asking for special rights, just the rights everyone else has.

Good for those companies, enough discrimination.

Being gay has nothing to do with you bible thumpers.....bible thumpers are annoying....But here one for you to ponder on.

Greatest man in history, named JESUS, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today

The reality is that anyone who sides with a certain group of individuals including the President of any country or nation is a foolish mistake, agreeing with any group of people based on MORAL and SEXUAL preference beliefs is foolish. When individuals actually belief in something that is good for HUMANITY the truth of that belief is what makes it stand on its own not forming some king of organization to push that particular group's belief and agenda. Quite frankly I don't believe in anyone having rights based on sexual preference. Just something to think about, what are we going to do with those in jail today because of having sex with animals or individuals under 18? Isn't that the same thing, those prosecuted were just acting based on their sexual desire (preference). That's why is stupid and foolish to side with any of these groups.
The president is just trying to get some votes out of this.

Freedom from religion is the first step to freedom of religion.  Some of our first colonists were seeking freedom from the power of the Anglican church when they came to America.

Only God knows the outcome of all this.  We all come to this earth in the same way.  We all leave it the same way.  Judgement isn't our job, it belongs only to the creator.  We can have opinions, though.

I, personally, don't concern myself with what others do.  I just don't want their views jammed down my throat - in the same way I don't jam mine down others' throats.

I think it says "Freedom of Religion" not "Freedom from Religion". There is a big difference!

Let's not bother mentioning the Western Roman Empire.  Their Christian era was one of Rome's weakest eras and western Rome died a christian nation.  Even the Byzantines  were sacked by Christian crusaders on the way to Jerusalem.  This did nothing to help prepare them for the Turkish invasions.  Do not misrepresent history for partisan rhetoric.

i dont believe being gay is a choice, some time kids in school will think its cool to be gay but they arent really, they just hold hands or kiss their same sex bff, but saying that being actually gay is a choice is like saying being straight is a choice, its like saying feelings are a choice, that we have so much control over our minds and souls as to turn on and off like a machine and that just isnt the case, i dont know any one whose ever chosen who they love gay or straight, and if it is a choice then technically every straight person is a lil gay on the inside, i still dont get why its a huge debate its personal and no one should have the right to say no to love especially someone elses but this is the land of the "free" and the home of the ignorant

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 ended this week with a bang, roaring to a new all-time high on the back of stronger-than-expected economic data, influential leadership, and an ongoing appreciation for the Fed's monetary policy support.

The bullish bias was evident in premarket action as the S&P futures pointed to a higher start without the benefit of any definitive news catalyst.  Stocks indeed benefited from a blast of buying interest at the opening bell on this ... More
