Why can't young people can't find work?  Its has to do with the way they are raised.  They can't stick their finger in their A$$ with both hands.  Mom and Dad don't make them take out the trash. Plus the lawyers have made it impossible to work one of the little worthless nerds with out being sued.  A business can't take the chance.  Don't forget they are taught they only qualify for white collar work.  Nothing they might get their hands dirty.  Now they are ready. They find out there is a Mexican fresh accross the border from Mexico who will work for less money and no protection.  If he gets hurt off to Mexico before the sun goes down.   Let give the school credit also.  All they are taught in school is be politically correct and are brainwashed to think that is the only way.

This is the new economy.  What Americans must  understand is no president or new administration is going to fix the unemployment issue here in the U.S.   We have shipped to much of our wealth and jobs overseas over the last 2 decades and its not coming back.  Get used to double digit unemployment as a norm.  If we can keep it below 15% we are doing good.

I wish all president stop saying they will bring jobs back, they can only low taxes for business and this will help business to open the doors to jobs, the real issues with job is this I'm a small business owner when they received their bailout money from they cut off all lines of credit to small business closed credit cards account, this start the jobs lost and they still are not lending, they took the tax payer's money to fits their books then turned their backs on the people now they have record profits, big business have record profit and they have the joy of the bush tax cuts and still refuse to hire...its not Obama its the banks, also congress refused to vote on any of his job bills to open work for road and other construction....so we need to be more upset with the banks then any president...because the gov't is giving a big tax cut to the rich but they are not using it to hire...

Why is anyone surprised at this???

The economy did start to tank under Bush but it was because of the housing crisis!  NOT because of Bush's tax cuts or his fiscal policy.  It was under Clinton where the government started making it easy for everyone to afford housing.  They forced the banks to make loans to risky people.  This is what caused the start of the whole financial meltdown!

When 9-11 happened Bush didn't whine about how bad the economy was...no...he cut taxes for everyone!  Businesses and individuals.  And guess what?  The economy started roaring back.  This hasn't happened under Obama.  He knows NOTHING on what it takes to run a business and yet everyone acts surprised that he hasn't done a better job.  Well, you don't hire an electrician to perform brain surgery!  Just like you don't hire a community organizer to run the world's largest economy!

Wake up America!

Welcome to obammy land!!!  Dreams of his father!  How to destroy America.  Don't blame this on Bush either.  Don't even try it.  He has failed miserably.  Is anyone really surprised???

The president doesn't get to unilaterally decide laws - that's why we have a congress. You can't blame the president for the laws that the legislature passes. Yes he signs or vetos them, and also backs certain ones, but that's it. So if you want someone to blame for the past 4 years, look at who's got the majority in congress.

OBAMA has his head up up his **** without a doubt. OBAMA is for ther middle class??? I don't think so. OBAMA totally IGNORED the Middle Class folks during his term as president.    When i was in Myrtle Beach last month, our waitress was from Russia. The owner of the restaurant said that he can not get young people to work for him i the summer for the wage that he can afford to pay out. He said that it is cheaper to fly people in form other countries, give them a place to stay, and pay them what he can afford rather than paying a hire wage to a local person. He also said that some of the locals that he does hire come in late and takes days off without any advance warning. OMG! RUSSIA!

When I was in collage, I work at a gas station pumping gas, fast food restaurants, anything that got some green in my hand. I was making minimum wage($2.35hr) and today its what $5.00, $6.00hr. Today's kids must think it is below them to do this, what else could it be. The words that comes to mind are "ENTITLEMENT" that they probably got from there parents. Not all parents are like this but, a lot are!

When the kids read this I am sure they will say "Just another old fool" and I guess they will be right because;

When I graduated from college I had to take a job in my field for minimum wage, my take home pay was $127 every TWO weeks. Kids today could also find such jobs but they are Entitled to so much more (in their opinions) that they don't do it.

I managed to stick it out and continued to be productive after each advancement until I eventually reached the $100 to $200k level. Now these poor me chumps and their elected puppets want my money because they say they deserve it.

I remember when this philosophy was sold to millions of people by Marks - "For those with the means to those with the need" good thought but as we all know communism always collapses upon itself, whether it is headed by Stalin or Jerry Garcia.

Those that keep blaming Obama, lets not forget that the economy started going downhill when Bush (W) was in office. So if you blame Obama, blame W also! He didn't do a thing about it either.

Obummer has a greeeat plan to get Americans working again! Tax employers and make mandatory health care for them too expensive. Keep tax policy changes an ongoing mystery!

Yeah, all this is proven to fail in other countries, but it's never been tried in THIS country.

What's that, empty Maobama chair? It's been in place for over three years in America? Well, isn't it failing? Do what to myself? Geez, Clint was right ...

Maybe the people who like Obama's ideas should go to Europe and live there, rather than trying to make changes that most Americans don't want - The countries in this article already have socialist policies in place.

16-25 year old's are still in school.  If you're in high school work at a fast food place on the weekends. you have no skills.  If you're in collage you still have no skill.  Kids today want that high paying job as soon as they get out of school or even when they are in school.  As soon as they have to do some hard work they quit.  They don't want to work they just want a paycheck.

I am surprised with all the government regulations and control in Europe the unemployment rate isn't closer to 0%.  Perhaps the ruling parties don't realize government only needs to vote jobs into existence.

Vote for OBlameo and that will get the job done.
