If we bring the current president back, the values of any of these companies will change.
Remember "Hope and Change" Well we have had four years of Change and now we will have no hope.
I am sure the he will figure out a way to redistribute the profits of these companies away from stockholders, into the hands of the federal government and then ultimately to anyone he feels is more deserving than the people who invested their hard earned money in those companies.
You can't trust the media, liberal or conservative. Each has it's own agenda.
Obama has made it clear that he wants to socialize the US and redistribute the wealth so all people are equal in net worth. It won't work, it never has in any civilization and it takes away the incentive to work hard and take risks to make a better life for you and your children.
Obamanation will destroy our country from within. He has never had a real job and has lived off a social income with no accountability for where the money comes from or meeting a payroll and paying bills. That is all he knows to do. soon we will be just like all the rest of the old socialist countries. Even China and Cuba have seen capitalism is better.
Ys Up....
I would support your president if he does not tax me. I had only $333 when I came to America. I worked two jobs to pay for my living expenses and college tuitionAs the matter of fact, I do not have any cell phone, and I drive 11 year old vehicle; I am getting rich, while wall street protesters buy iphones :-) You Obama fans have been born in America and do not know how to make living in your own country. "Good" for you.
To say that Coca Cola is not a global brand simply because it's an American company is hogwash. For many years in this brand ranking, the brand has held the number one position. It has easily been the most-recognized, most-valued brand on the planet. For it to drop to the number three position says far more about the enormous popularity of Apple and Microsoft than any shortcoming of Coke.
To iswalmart:
You seem to be making a lot of friends here (wink) but I do have to agree with you on on e point. The fact that low wages lead to low birth rates since people can't afford the BASICS. All you have to do is look at the zero population growth in areas like central Africa where there is abject poverty. Yep.........no more kids for us Mubee Jubee...........can't afford them
This may be off the subject but I would like to point out that this notion that companies like Coke a Cola are global companies is a farce.
Yes they may now produce and sell there products globally but the company was originally started up in the U.S.A. and it is and should be viewed as an American company doing business around the world.
I know all these brands, but I don't like them all.
1. BMW highly over-rated in my opinion.
2. Microsoft unreliable in many versions of Windows.
3. Apple too expensive and over-rated as well.
4. GE A corporation that doesn't pay American taxes
5.. Cisco another terrible networking company
6. IBM Hey they turned it around
7. Coke, I like Pepsi.
8. Mcdonalds that food well kill you if you eat too much.
And the rest I can't say too much about.
This wealth divide has killed our middle class, flatlined our birth rates in America, collapsed our housing markets, destroyed the notion that hard work pays, and has threatened the economic viability of America.
America is falling off a cliff because of this Fascist wealth divide forced on us by Republicans. America will never recover as long as we keep electing Republicans, and as long as the filibuster is abused by Senate Republicans.
With the help of Romney and Bain Capital, American corporations outsourced their jobs to China etc. When they left America, they also shipped our entire middle class to China for Corporate Fascist profits. Leaving behind high unemployment and low wage Walmart/Home Depot typoe service sector jobs.
Low wages kill birth rates nationwide when people can't afford the BASICS. Food, shelter, healthcare etc.
For profit expensive gasoline, for-profit unaffordable healthcare, expensive rents/mortgages, falling wages, high unemployment, skyrocketing food and utility prices..
Low wages+ expensive, for-profit basic living(healthcare, food, gas) = LOW BIRTH RATES.
Google America's low birth rates and learn why America is no longer sustainable due to its very low birth rates that fell dramatically under the FASCIST Bush/Republican regime.
Low wage greedy FASCIST capitalism foisted on us by conservative Republicans has lowered America's birthrates to the point that our nation can't sustain.
America's birth rates are so low that our nation is fast AGING.
Avg age of America's white population= 44
Avg age of America's Latino population= 21
All racial groups in America are seeing birth rates plummet except Latinos.
That is the damning indictment of Republican Fascist capitalist policy.
Dead birth rates.
Republican policy is killing America in every way, shape, and form.
Dems can do little as long as Republicans continue to abuse the filibuster in the Senate, essentially stopping any meaningful legislation from moving forward.
Demand filibuster reform and vote Democratic or America will continue its freefall into obscurity.
Republicans are America's Corporate Fascist Party.
I'll take Socialism over Fascism anyday.
Socialist gasoline in Venezuela= 25 CENTS per gallon in American dollars.
America's Fascist gasoline = $4-$5 dollars per gallon.
Sweden and Venezuala don't have a 16 Trillion dollar debt and are not threatening the global economy the way that Fascist Capitalist America is. Sweden and Ven have much stronger and sustainable economies because they value good wages and take care of their people. The gap between rich and working class in Sweden is very small and poverty is e very tiny problem, compared to America.
Sweden and Venezuela have higher birth rates than America proving that Capitalist Fascism kills birth rates.
