What on earth is wrong with us that we have to be so super sensitive over nothing?  This is ridiculous.  Some people would be offended if you look at them.  Get over it. Political correctness is destroying us.

The sandals only apply in Spain. In America, we go by what americans have established as the meaning. Offensive words in another's culture only has relevence in their country of origin, not in America. If you come to live here, adapt to American culture or stay where you are. I am tired of America having to be sensitive to foreigners in our own country.

If this country gets any more sensitive we're all going to have to wear blinders and duct tape our mouths so we don't offend anyone. It seems that no matter what you think do or say and apparently name a product, some body's going to find it offensive You know what? We have three choices here if we don't like something. Tolerate it, leave it, or accept it in the spirit it was intended. Pick a direction and stop being so damn critical of what is no more than a minor annoyance.

Getting offended about the "manatee gray" is ridiculous to me.  Target was just trying to associate the color with something familiar and not meant as an insult to the buyer.  If overweight people are so offended, go on a diet...

Wow, just goes to show that somebody, somewhere, will be offended by something. As long as businesses cow-tow to the boo-hooers, this kind of PC crap will never end. Get over it and let your skin thicken up people.

A re-post from another blogger --- Worth putting on every msn story

Jeff, maybe you missed Congress’ latest change to the STOCK Act. Are you sitting down? They just, very quietly, gutted the law that was supposed to stop insider trading… seriously.

On April 11, Congress voted to eliminate the transparency provisions that would have made not just their trades, but the trades of everyone close to elected officials (staffers, aides, lobbyists) available to the general public. You know – the part that mattered. It also delayed until next year the requirement to post financial disclosure forms online. The vote was unanimous. It all went down in a matter of seconds. And Obama signed it into law on April 15.
These people are crooks. They write laws to protect their criminal activity. And so far, they are untouchable.
