The job of being a US citizen is the most dangerous.  Wait... a legal, tax paying, hard working US citizen, yeah, that's better.

Has the middleclass been put on the endangered species list yet?

Being in the military then coming home and waiting in line at the VA to be seen by a doctor.

Thank you my fellow citizens...

No coal miners? The rest of these are no way near as dangerous as working in an underground coal mine.

The number one most dangerous job is Broadcast/Cell Tower workers. The issue is the Dept of Labor cannot figure out where to place people in our profession. We are not iron workers and we are not electricians. We climb steel structures on average to 600' and around 50lbs in our bags not counting the weight of the harness and carabiners. The tallest I personally climbed was 1552'. That is 300 feet taller the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. People really do not appreciate what we do to get cellular to the people. Its a really fun job though. I have been doing it since 1999 and had my share of near misses and accidents. If your not afraid of heights then you should consider it. Lets you travel and see the country unless your lucky enough to find a local company with local work. That is normally only found in big cities. Good times. Stay safe and remember 100% tie off.

Notice how police and fire are not in the list --- lots more dangerous jobs that pay a lot less than being a cop or fireman.

They dropped bus loads of illegal immigrants in Phoenix, Az today June 4, 2014. Did our border patrol go blind or scared of doing their job. Maybe sleeping on the job in broad daylight could be a dangerous job. Is there such a thing as border guards? Bus loads of illegal immigrants sneak past border guards? They must be on the take or just plain stupid. Stupid is as stupid does.

I'd say being the Deputy White House Counsel under the Clintons', and an especially close 'personal friend' of Hillary Clinton has got to be THE most dangerous job anywhere.
Ain't that right Vince?,..

remember these jobs next time the articles come around about women making less than men.

and note women do not seek out jobs like this, therefore they make less money on average than men.

There have been 42 firefighter fatalities reported since January 1st. I'm surprised those brave men, and women (many volunteers) are not on this list.

United States President.  Of the 43 people who held the job four have been killed on the job. That doesn't count Reagan who was shot but survived.  In all eight died in office.

That's 9,3028 deaths per 100,000.  That's a good bit riskier than 128 per 100,000 for a logger.

That, is the most dangerous job in America.  (Now you see why we get Dan Quale and Joe Bidden as V.P.  - they need the life insurance)

Why aren't these people given tributes along the route of their funeral processions?  They died on the job serving Americans.
