Maybe it's just me, but I think this list pretty much eliminated everything.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SHOP ON THANKSGIVING!!
Let's be civilized and let our holiday breath.  It is not right to make more people work so $10.00 can be saved.  There is plenty of time on Black Friday.
BOYCOTT THANKSGIVING SHOPPING!!

Being trampled to death in a Best Buy stampede or a fistfight is not my idea of a happy holiday.

I'll start with frame #2 (Toys) ... 2 weeks before Christmas, when my shopping is all done and I am relaxing by the TV , I couldn't care less if I see the item I bought on sale is now even a little cheaper. I didn't pay full price ... and I'm done
(Also ... keep in mind that many GOOD retailers including Amazon will refund the difference if the same item is found cheaper within 30 days)

So basically black friday is just for finding deals on crap, like a $12 coffee pot.  I realized a few years back that there are no deals on anything worth buying on black friday.  I will be working.

In short buy nothing on black friday. Wait until 2 days before or 2 days after for the best deals and hope what you want is still there. good call!!!!

I'm buying zero anything...my Thanksgiving holiday is not about f...ing shopping.   What a twisted culture...there will be reports of fights, maybe some other violence to brighten the holiday spirit...such a deal to die for.

A surprisingly good article from MSN. People need to realize you are not going to get a great deal on a premium new product on Black Friday. It makes no sense to stand in line for hours to find out they only had 2 items in stock of what you wanted. Then it doesn't make sense to stand in line for video games that will go down in price in March anyway! I guess some people never learn.

-Don't buy a console without a bundled item! (showing an image of of SONY PS3's)
-Don't buy an Apple iPad mini!
-Don't buy a Kindle HDX!

*scrolls through rest of the list* hmm no mention of the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Windows Surface! that must mean they are a must buy!

Thanks MSN, your non-bias article really made my shopping list much easier!

I think the only thing left are computers. This is a silly article anyway. MSN has another article that has 5 items you should buy on Black Friday. They had the new Kindle 7 HD, a digital camera, and an HDTV. This reminds me of the two articles they did before the tv fall premiers where several new shows were on both the watch and avoid lists.

You neglect to mention that the first generation iPad mini is only available in the 16-gig version and the $399 2nd generation is 32-gigs. I'd rather spend $130 more and get a better display and double the memory capacity- IF I get an iPad mini.

Personally, I would never go out and shop on Black Friday....it just seems wrong.  Besides, I could do without all of that chaos.  My time and energy to get somewhere, not to mention gas prices, are worth something...so I'd prefer to shop at home for most things.  That being said, if there was something I wanted and it was significantly discounted so that I would otherwise be unable to afford the item, I'd buy it.

I don't understand the point of this article informing us that prices for some of these things will be much lower after Christmas.  No $hit, Sherlock.  The point IS though, that people are buying these things as Christmas gifts for others.  So...unless you have some way to warp time, you pretty much buy what you want/need to buy for Christmas, when you can or see these things on sale.

Duh.  EVERYBODY knows you'll find many of these things much cheaper after Christmas.

You do all realize that MSN with actually spot on this time.  Don't buy anything on Black Friday.  I never do, because you will see it go on sale again before Christmas.  Shopping on Black Friday is a stupid move, unless you want to get a discount on items that for the last 6 months, everyone else was smart enough to avoid wasting their money on.
