I think I'll grab a bottle of Dasani and pull up the Time Warner channel guide and see what's on tv. I worked 45 years before retiring and I earned the right to enjoy what's left of my life. The kids are on their own, because there won't be any inheritance.

Another article that is 90% just promoting what should be obvious to most people . Turn off items you aren't using to save on electric , mow your own lawn etc etc .  Most of us were taught common sense growing up , but articles like these make it sound like everyone is stupid . Maybe they are directed at younger people , I sure don't see their benefit .  jmo

These are the top things that used to waste my money, and I fixed:
1. Bars.  How can you justify $10 for a drink or $6 for a beer?  What else in the world would you pay this much money for?  Cut out bars.
2. Expensive dinners.  These are ok once in a while, but if you find yourself going to Olive Garden and spending $25 twice a week, stop.  Save the dinners for special nights and occasions.
3. Insurance spending.  Car insurance is easy to replace for less.  I also was wasting about $275 a month on a life insurance policy I got tricked into buying.  You can get the same coverage for term for less than $20.  I found mine at Life Ant.
4.Going to movies.  Its hard to justify this when tickets are $22 a piece now.
5. Gas.  Slow down 5mph and save hundreds a year.

Give a man a fish and eats for a day. Give a man food stamps, welfare checks, free cell phones and section 8 crack housing and he will vote democratic the rest of his/her life!

Interesting that they would list yard work.  The wealthy pay someone, and the poor do it themselves.
Paying for TV is one of the biggest wastes of money I can think of.  I would have cut the cable years ago if I didn't get an argument from the rest of the family.

More Americans could afford all those things if our enemies in D.C. didn't hand out to our enemies abroad and those in third world $hit holes.  Any life form too ignorant or lazy to survive on it's own must be permitted to perish from the face of the earth as nature intended.  Nature did very well throughout history but today it must overcome bleeding heart idiots and profiteers to accomplish

what has to be done.

I would love to stop supporting the pieces of $hit that have never worked a day in their life and have screwed up the greatest nation on earth, from the trash at the bottom to the trash at the top of the ladder in D.C.

Mowing the law is a good way for neighborhood kids to actually earn some money.  So, if you can afford it and have an entrepreneur pre-teen or teen in your neighborhood, why not help out.

How is it that we are allowing so many illegals in this country - I don't care if they are children or not, you know the parents aren't far behind.  When are we going to start taking care of our own???  The cost of everything is going up in this country, these people come over here and they're on our Gov't welfare roles and we can't get decent  care for our own citizens.  I've worked all my life to provide for my family, paid my taxes on time and my own healthcare - no handouts.  When I go to the grocery store and see these illegals paying for groceries (and not good food, most of it is junk food) with welfare cards, it makes me sick.  "I like to be in America, everything free in America."  the song from West Side Story - must be their theme song.

Some of these suggestions are great others not so much but accumulated they do add up. Now we got that covered tell us all the ways and things the government does to take advantage of us.... list how many ways Obama and his crooks have decimated our great lifestyle..... How much he and his family have taken advantage of us for his personal gain.... So what we want is the whole truth... things they can do better.

Bottled water, bank fees, and phone insurance. Those are the 3 that caught my eye. Cable yeah I know. You get what you pay for. I am not scrambling through a bunch of web pages to find a crappy version of Dexter that cuts off 10 minutes into the best part look for me to purchase an app or service.

But when did we start buying crates of bottled water? I love Nestle now, but I am sick about it sometimes.Bank fees, don't even get me started. Not only the avoidable ones but the sneaky ones too.Phone insurance what a frigging ripoff until you drop your phone in the toilet like I did and despite the rice, the turning it upside down, drier, or whatever. It came on after about 2 weeks but I hit the enter button and got a different screen everytime. They only thing it did on que was ring and I could not answer it. I did not have insurance. I have the best insurance now and I guarantee my phone will work forever!
