the partiers fine also gets applied to anyone who plays music that the other residents who hear it don't like,

i had a situation in that very situation,

i was listening to my country music and i have a sound system that i built myself, ha ha ha.........

but the neighbors complained because i wasn't playing their rap crap that sounds like an out of tuned chain saw.

if i was playing what they liked, they would have been breaking the door down to tell me to turn it up.

All this does is prove the point that we have to many laws and regulations in this country. People are so used to having the " Nanny State" take care of them they have forgotten how to take care of problems on there own. If you find the saggy pant offensive then got talk to the person about it. If your neighbors lawn needs mowing then talk to them they may have a problem and you help them out . We are so scared to help our neighbors today we would rather call the police or take them to court that we loose sight of the fact that if we work together we can find a solution.

This best shown in Washington at the moment. I am a conservative but understand that I can't have things all my way just as the liberals need to understand that can't have it all there way either.

So Lets all grow up a little and remember what we learned in Kindergarten class.

Some of these can be somewhat justified, but some need to be put infront of a court for judicial review.  Not being able to curse?  Not being able to say specific words is an outright violation of the U.S. Constitution and Local governments are still bound to that.

Hell, if I were in that town, I'd curse just to get it in a court room then bring it up until it is removed.  Freedom of Speech is a line that should not be crossed.

People dont understand that just because they have these stupid laws and can be fined, doesnt mean they will get the money. They cant do nothing to you, except bring it to collections. If you have bad credit or even good credit this is not looked at seriously. They try to scare the people in paying by sending people official papers saying who you can be in big trouble, but the fact is they cant do nothing to you legally.I have been fined alot for alot of things and nothing has happened to me,except getting letters i no longer get because it probably is costing more in stampsthan it is to try an scare me.

It's specifically Monarch Butterflies that are protected in Pacific Grove, and for a very good reason: It's one of their wintering sites. On a sunny winter day, the air will be full of these beauties. When it's cold out, they fill the trees of their roosting groves like brown, orange, and black leaves.

That law was actually passed while I lived there, and was intended to keep gawkers from disturbing (or landowners from destroying) the roosting sites.

Saggy pants make it much easier to catch young dumb crooks.  Not to mention it's hard to carry the loot if one hand needs to hold up said pants.  Three inches below the hip is mid thigh for most people.

I’ve never been a big fan of saggy pants but I would also never want to live in a community that fines people for having bad taste and for being too stupid to know that they look like morons. Also I have to say that if I were ever fined for not mowing my lawn often enough I would take the whole thing out the next day and see how my neighbors like the look of dirt in place of a front lawn. As for the dog barking law I think it’s a great idea. I love dogs but I don’t think people should own them if they aren’t willing to put in the time to train them properly, particularly when it comes to barking for no reason.
