....Rather than concentrating on the "Super Foods"

 - I think most consumers would experience far greater health benefits from eliminating "Super Junk Food Products" from their diet.

I thought chia was only used to make really creepy/weird 'chia pet' things?

Seriously, other than chia and quinoa I have long eaten the things on this list.  NOT because someone told me they were good for me.  But because my body likes them.  STOP stuffing yourself with sugar and processed crap and THEN, when it has healed, LISTEN to your body.  It might amaze you with the things it prefers.

Licensed Nutritionist my buttttt  !
Not once did she mentioned the most single and ONLY real concern when it comes to food!

the word is "MONSANTO" too many people are dying from Monsanto!!!
How much Money is the media being paid to sweep this "genetic food maker"  under the carpet?

Monsanto charged in death

do you think your doctor will tell you the truth?
do you think the FDA has been telling you the truth?
do you think Congress will turn away a company that pays them millions of dollars in perks?

Congress, this media and others bought by Monsanto are the same people telling you to vote NO on the "just label it" in  Washington State, the next 12 days.
they want you to vote no so they do not have to disclose the horrible ingredients packed in the food you are buying, and this media outlet and "Licensed Nutritionist" do not talk the truth!

Why?

I cant afford to eat most of this crap.  I can buy a bag of rice for a buck and grow my own Collards and Okra.  Kale?  I bet Collards stack up pretty nicely.

Any article on super foods is going to attract people who read up on health.  I'm not a fan of Monsanto either--I'm just not so vocal about it.  What I don't like is them trying to put patents on all the seeds and going after farmers and seed savers in court.  People have a right to grow their own seeds and can't help it if the wind blows Monsanto crop pollen into their fields.

Monsanto charged in Deaths in Argentina, but not in the U.S., protected by Congress!

this link is Shocking    CAUTION:

just depends on how much they pay the FDA and U.S. Congress.

NO!!!!!  My mother made yogurt at home without the fancy labeling , packaging and advertising.  We ate it with honey, fresh fruit, fruit preserves and whatever else went well with it every month, why pay a BIG FAT CORPORATION and IT'S EXECUTIVES millions of your hard earned dollars for what you can make simply and cheaply at home?

"MONSANTO" = My Satan.

We have no representation folks.
Just a criminal Congress of Carnies who sells us down the river each and every day.

Some flaky hipster writes an article saying to buy all the "trendy" foods.  Gee, go figure.
avatar

Please try to concentrate here ...  focus a little, perhaps?  Monsanto is not a part of the discussion.  Trendy 'superfoods' are the topic here. Most of the trendy 'superfoods' were the menu at my house before they were trendy 'superfoods'.

I know a lot of people who buy coconut water from street vendors almost every day, a lot of folks use chia seeds. These folks still die and I doubt it makes their lives any better, but they think so. and that's the important thing.

People are having to turn more and more to Super Foods because of the actions of Companies like Monsanto. Therefore they are a legit part of the Discussion. Folks would have to be completely Naive not to understand that. Whether it's to  find something not tainted by companies like Monsanto and or to correct the Poison a Company like it has spread.

Super Foods won't prevent your demise but they can certainly give you a better chance of survival. Companies like Monsanto might be the single biggest threat not only to your health but to Human survival. Be wary of anyone not wanting to have this important discussion. Humans have been just a short part of Earth's history, it would be a shame if we extinct ourselves.

All I know I started eating  6oz of Greek Yogurt in the morning and I no longer take anything for heart burn or acid relief

Truthfully I think I'd rather live to 60 eating exactly what I enjoy than live to 90 eating like a rabbit.  Especially when eating like a rabbit costs more, depriving me of other potential enjoyment.

Paying attention  to your diet: A Yoplait light yogurt has the same nutrition value as a Chobani Greek yogurt and is half the price: 50 cents Yoplait, $1.00 Chobani. So which one you like the most? the one on fashion pushed by the medias like Chobani or the good flavored with real fruits Yoplait?

Many products are like that and looking around you'll find a lot of them good for your diet for half the price. Up to you, now.
