I wait until after Christmas for the sales, especially on clothes! The author didn't say anything about furniture, though. Is Christmas a good time for that?

Hello everyone and good evening,
So I was brainstorming and realized more than one holiday is around the corner. We need money, so what should we do? Our children are yelling "barbie goes to London!! and it just came out!!" said the child in a specific store of course, "can we go please mom !!!?!?!" said, the child.  To say  to a child I do not have the money is honest, but sad  and will they understand? I don't think so, I was thinking about a indoor yard sale to sell your old cloth,  more than one shoe and more then one toy.If I forget about the shopping and sell everything we have, then I would have to empty out the shirt that defined the phrase "maybe next time " or "it is too tight", but I can use the shirt as a hand me down or re gift the product instead;however, a bake sale would be great because selling anything hand made  can gain a few extra nickels for the picnicking or for the relatives.The event is a great season to teach children how to earn their money and giving the example of saving money instead of spending the money.
P.S. So TIME IS MONEY. START SAVING now along with the children for the holiday season!

I thought this is the time to shop. Guess I was wrong. I will wait till after holidays maybe even till Jan. then I will shop. Thank you for opening my eyes. But lets not forget to give charity for poor or send money to poor countries like Afghanistan to make them happy and God will be happy with us too. It doesn't have to be around holidays.
