Once you get rid of all the junky ads on tv the shows might be worth watching, why do you have to pay for cable and still have ads on it?

Cut the cable, save the $$$ and get a ROKU box!

I didn't read all of this. I care nothing at all about sports.  I would like to get the local and national news and maybe a few shows like Barney Fife, the Hillbillys, whatever they are called, with Jethro in it, and maybe even Playboy now and then,  But, I want one that is free if possible or at least one that blocks the "ask your doctor" ads as well as the "we kin git ye sum money" lawyer ads and the medicare supplement ads as well as the other insurance scam ads.  As it is now, I hardly watch televsion because most of it is re-runs of the aforementioned ads designed to get your money.  I think these ads should be made illegal.

My 30 minute local morning news now consists of about 18 minutes of commercials and a couple minutes of teasers, telling me what they are going to tell me later in the show. About 6 minutes of actual news, most of which is the weather.

I refuse to read anymore articles where you have to continue by pressing forward to continue to read. Get your articles written so they are are all on one page.

Thought everyone knew this.

You don't need a cable or satalite subscription to watch anything.  If you can just wait a day, every new episode of every show is either on that networks website or on some other internet stream.

I too stopped TWC. Nothing on TV is worth that price. I have a box and antenna for local and PBS channels. Use my computer for shows where I don't have reception capabilities. Truth is, I'm not sure internet is worth the price. I am retired, don't use internet for work now and could go without FB, emails. Could even do banking the old fashion way, actually go to the bank and use checks. LOL Here's the good deal though. With internet I use Magicjack for my home phone....it's once a year payment and then free! Unlimited long distance! Love it!  I have a pre-paid cell for in the car for emergencies because my cell phone was too costly for how I used it. Don't like texting or playing games etc. I say call me instead. A voice is nice to hear.  So, I'll hang on to internet until it gets out of hand on price.

Given that it"s almost July, why should we take an article that begins with "With March Madness underway" seriously at this time of year. Once again MSN is recycling OLD news. Just like their content to be rehashed, recycled and reused.

The very first sentence says "With March Madness underway..." This is an old article. They should proof read it or at least upgrade the article.

Just canceled TWC and bought a Roku and am going through TV withdrawal.  I can watch just about any show on my computer except on CBS.  Have tried multiple times and video skips and is pixelated.  The rest of the networks play fine.  Don't know if it something at CBS or the player on my PC.  I used to watch CBS a while back with no issues.
