I agree it would be nice to boycott an oil company, but have you ever driven by, say 76 for instance, and see a BP tanker filly the tanks with their product, thank about it. Seems the middle class gets screwed again.

PINGER is awesome - switch to a prepaid phone (most unlocked smartphones like; iphone or androids will work) I pay 25 that lasts me 3 months.

Then load PINGER on to your phone. It's free - the drawback is you must use it though the internet so you will need a hotspot. Tell all your contacts about it. It really does work. I have been using it all morning and 6 friends have switched over to it. Woo hoo!  No phone or texting charges (I guess Skype charges now so goodbye Skype - Hello PINGER.

beware of BofA rewards program...

you know the 1 (everything) 2 (groceries) and 3 (gas)...

you no longer get the 1% on everything anymore...

don't believe me....take a look at your statements from the time it started (i think it was august/september of 2011....

LOOK AT YOUR TOTAL CHARGES....then LOOK AT WHAT YOU GOT FOR THE's a match (for example....if you spend $ got $5.03 (a TRUE 1%)....

looking at your statement starting in JUNE of this year....i can guarantee that you are not getting a TRUE 1% any longer....if you spend $ might only get $4.97...yep NO LONGER A TRUE 1%!!!!!

it took me 5-6 phones calls to BofA to find out why!!!

they no longer take your total charges....rather they take you individual charges (like a line by line deal) if you had to make an easy example....10 charges at $25.56 (each) for $255.60 (before the june statement you would've gotten....$2.55 in rewards (1%) since it's based on individaul charges (a line by line deal), you only would get $2.50 ($.25c x 10)...

So all of you BofA 1-2-3 cc users....CHECK IT OUT.....

Tomorrow more.....last but not least.....ignore the advice "provided" by the internet companies.....most of it is subliminal messaging or directing you the way their own customers want you to go/think....jejejejeje

You can eliminate half these by switching to a credit union vs. a bank...

Most of these "hidden or non-hidden" fees come from insurance companies, real estate, and mostly from banks.  The Republican party says we do not need a consumer advocate because we don't want to make the government "too big".  This is translated as, don't limit us in ways we can get your money.  I noticed Bank of America was mention quite a few times.  I have already been zinged by the Bank of America and would never do business with them if I have a choice, and you know what?  I have a choice.

One that burns me is the power company tacks on a charge for low income and you have no choice but to pay it  telephone co does the same thing

White bread, how about you buy a used car, get basic cable, use a debit card, pay your bills on time, rent rather than buy, and live with in your means!!!!!  This is the thinking or lack of that got us into the mess this country is in.

Strive to be self reliant and self sustaining.

Don't use their stuff or pay for it.

At the end of the day, a company needs to make a profit.  If you use their service then you should expect to pay them enough to make a profit.  A LA Carte pricing allows a lower base price and then charges for any extra.  I seldom carry anything but a small bag that fits under the seat, why should i pay for someone who brings on 6 large bags.  I never use the headphones or pillow so same applies.

Basically, if you take away the fees the base price will just go up.

Is anyone dumb enough to think that the price will stay the same if the fees go away??

Having to pay to pay. In this soon-to-be cashless society, we should not be penalized for using the telephone or computer to make payments of any kind. You can be charged anywhere from $2.80 by a utility to $14.95 by your mortgage company simply for using something that they offer as a "convenience"..

# 1 should be bank fee's. # 2 should be all the CA state fee's imposed on everything by the liberal Dems running this fricken state. Can't tax without voter approval, but can add fee's without the voter. They have very good teachers in the banking world and won't do anything to screw that up......
