We finally got out of the ditch and on the road again,  and the morons that drove us in the ditch want to drive again.  I understand we may be only doing 20 in a 50 but if we drive back in to a ditch the car may be un repairable this time.

I guess I am poor, and didn't know it.   My income is about 35,000.00yr and I drive a decent (but older) car, eat out lunch twice a week, and have a nice dinner out once a month.  Of course, the car is not a gas eating SUV, and my home is a nice condo, on a hill, with a nice view, not 5000sq ft and a bunch of bedrooms and bathroom I don't need.   I even take two nice trips each year.    But my clothes of name brands, they are store brands, and been told how great I dress btw.  I have a nice TV, but not a monster, and all this the car, condo, TV, trips are paid for.   SO  for those with 35000 and 40000 income, I can't feel too sorry for you.

You have Washington wrong. Whitman County has a median household income of over $5,000 more than Asotin County. Washington State University is located in Whitman County, a money central. Take a trip to the state and compare the two, I'm sure you will agree.

I live in DeSoto County Florida and seeing this makes me sad, because nobody does anything to help. if i could do something I would, but Im not in the position to do that. We the people of the United States of America should help each other and the government should step in to help this county. As Americans  we shall stick together in the good days, the bad times, the most needed moments, and in everything that comes our way. This country is called " The United States of America" because as a country we stand "united" by the states, by the people who made this country come to life, and as the people who make this country we shall do the same. Stick together and help thos who are needed.

Maybe we should shut down the mining industry, stop drilling for oil (after all the middle east is our friend and we can get all our energy needs met there), let the govt dictate to the auto industry, have a few more steel, electric plants, construction crews layoff, take away the tax breaks, jack up everyone's electric bill, force businesses to go bankrupt or go overseas, oh and dont forget how every other business is affected by those job losses, a few layoffs  here, there, and everywhere...BUT never fear, we can all put flowers in our hair, hug the trees, and live happily ever after, ( oh yeah but you cant cut them down and build a shelter with them ).  We can get everything overseas I guess ....maybe the chinese will give us a job!  I mean we wouldnt want hard working, moral people to over run this place anyway, we are trying to build utopia? fairyland? what?  And we all know mean Bush was for big businesses to make big money and therefore have lots of good paying jobs..I'd much rather throw billions of $$$ into my dream of windmills, after all it has worked really well so far, and will probably create a few low paying jobs and not need much manpower.  I dont see why you working people dont see the big picture...it's about the trees..sacrifcing your home, your food is just a small price to pay!

You overbuilt your housing to hide your loss of jobs in manufacturing - now you dont need (hardly any) new houses.  In 2005 you built about 1.2 million houses when you normally build about 500,000 per year.  You are not very intelligent, in fact, you are as dumb as a box of rocks.

So if I get the gist of all this everyone wants to have their President responsible for his policies. During the Bush era he managed to wipe out the surplus, call an end to a war that wasn't over, ask for stimulus money and spend half before he left saying the other half was for the new Presdient to distribute (which means what,  he is only responsible for his half or is he responsible for not finishing what he started because he did not have the belief in it or the stomach for it)

It took George W 8 years to pretty much cause the largest recession (careful no depression here) since the 30's. And everyone wants Obama to fix it in 4. Everyone knows you are in office for 4 but you are campaigning for 2 of those years. The process is a touch unrealistic and way too political.

Everyone pay your fair share and then and only then can you bitch about the outcome!!!!

It's time to blame ourselves. We are the ones letting the Chinese do our work and buying their inexpensive products so they will own us some day. They couldn't do it with wars, now we are helping them achieve it

The nice thing is they aren't using poor as in on assistance as they are using it as a per capita listing of revenue and home prices. Then you have unpopulated and populated.

Now I know Arizona's poorest county is Apache. That's up in the four corners area where the Navajo Nation lives. Not many people live there.

lets blame OBAMA?  Come you right wing idiots, this is data from the 2010 census, Obama was in Office one year and your blaming him for this.... Why don't you blame your first grade teacher for you not becoming a millionaire.....idiots.  Get past your political indoctrination and see what is really happening.  "Oh we have to stop blaming poor George Bush.....I will stop blaming poor George Bush when he and the REPUBLICANS WHO PUT HIM IN POWER OWN UP TO THEIR SCREWING OF THIS COUNTRY."  Bush is a freaking millionaire yet he is demanding that tax payers continue to cover his costs because he grew acustom to living in.....give me a break.

"lets find someone to blame"   "it's obama's doing!"     "no it's bush he left this mess! " You are all a bunch of children. It's my fault and yours. if we all worked together as a nation the economy would be on the up and up. Yet all i see riseing in this ONCE great country is general stupidity and lack of personal accountablity. you don't wanna live in a poor area then do something about it, move, try to bring new bissness into the area, clean up your neighborhoods and take steps to raise property values. Maybe stop shopping at wal-mart and target who by the way import almost ALL of there stock form china, or mabye talk to your congressman about steps you can take to keep jobs HERE. Getting to the point thou obama nor bush had ever made great decisions you cannot hold ONE MAN responsable for the actions and responablities of 450 million peoople it's not obamas country folks it's ours!

Bush...
1)He came into office and immediately gave away the budget surplus that Clinton accumulated;  by balancing the budget! 65% of that money went top the top 1% of Americans the other 35% was given to the rest of us in the form of $300 checks. "to stimulate the economy" Yeah that worked... Not!
2) Within the first year of Bush tenure we were attacked; Yeah on his watch! 911. The Bush cabinet refused all the Intel accumulated during the Clinton years. Plain old arrogance.
3) It is much more difficult to correct a negative then it is to waste a positive. Obama is still cleaning up Bush Era messes. What Mess did Clinton leave for Bush??
4) Gas prices went through the roof in 2005 during the Bush ERROR. Average price for Gas in 2005 was $2.50 today it is averaging $2.49. Remember folks gas went nuts when we went nuts and voted Bush in office
5) Obama had to deal with 2 Wars when he came into office. Iraq war was Bogus as Hell. No weapons of mass destruction and can anyone say power Vacuum. Iran is now Big Dog in the region. The Same Iran that we Despised through the years. Iraq was there main deterrent in the region. Look at Iran now!
6) Lets not forget that Bush LOST THE POPULAR VOTE and still became President! Proof that most voting Americans did not want him in office!!

The mean spiritedness and greed of the most fortunate of our citizenry never ceases to amaze me. The highest paid bankster/fund manager last year earned 4 billion dollars. That's in one year. For us 40hr work week wage slaves that's 2 million dollar an hour. He pays 15% income tax on that. The system couldn't be much fairer than that right. And for my right wing buddies out there he is not a job creator. You folks will still whine about some poor family that is getting help when they need it. For all of you who say get a job... Hire some of these "lazy" people. I'll guarantee if you're paying a living wage they'll take the job. Don't ask them to take food out of their families mouths if you won't pay them more than the meager aid their getting.

I live in Cochise county, AZ. I don't know for sure if it is the poorest, but seeing how things have been streamlined, I can safely assume that there is less tax revenue coming in and that means less programs for the people who qualify.

So at what point is Obama responsible for his own problems and cant pass them on to Bush? You same bunch said Bush was responsible right after he took office. That he had no right to blame Clinton for anything because he had to step up and take responsibility for his policies. Why cant you expect the same of Obama? Oh maybe because that wouldnt fit your mindless lie you tell yourselves every day. Our problems aren't Obama's, Bush's, Clinton's or anyone elses they are OURS. You vote idiots in who just wanna spend their way into re election then you have failed Policies that bankrupt this country. By all means keep blaming Republicans and voting for idiots who change nothing. That will solve everything.
