This Author is clearly a stuck up douche who tries to be funny but isn't...  Yea some of those inventions were pretty terrible, but the way this whole thing is written, the level of arrogance that shines through it all I couldn't bring myself to side with the author on hardly any of the items.

Has adjustable plastic spacers so never cut hair closer than

wanted..and all the loose hair is sucked up by the vacum...

I always found the shake weight sort of exciting.  Anyone remember Spoolies for women's hair?  I was in grade school and I must have seen 10,000 commercials for them.

As long as there are people dumb enough to buy this crap there will be people who make it. Blame the people not the makers and I bet they made money off of all of it. We been seeing this way back to the radio ads for trimacomb and the electric device for lumbago. It will never stop.

The writer probably has a shake weight and something else that vibrates from a battery. Total waste of time

Wow MSN...Do you even require written samples for the people you hire to write for you?  Do you check credentials, or can anyone simply claim they are a journalist and obtain employment with your company?  The articles on this site not only lack journalistic integrity and acumen, but they are constantly uninteresting and wrought with spelling and grammatical errors.  This e-zine is a laughing stock and your writers can't even meet the basic requirements to pass remedial English classes on a junior-high level.

She earned a "certificate of financial planning" (8 classes!) and now feels obligated to bash on successful inventors and entrepreneurs.  Couldn't accomplish anything worth mentioning yourself, so you knock those who did?

Keep Hatin', Liz!

South Park did a better parody of the Shake Weight than SNL.

Foot Undies are for dancers, and they're very popular.  It gives the dancers (in ballet, lyrical or jazz) the free feeling of dancing barefoot, which is quite popular currently, but still gives them traction on the ball of the foot.
