Gee... I am surprised they dont have "Presidential Candidate" on the list too

2016 is  not far away so you have to start early....

What a useless article... Of course we would all like to be doctors and make tons of money but who has the time or can afford eight years of schooling while trying to live inside and eat once in awhile....

As a nurse of 20 plus years, I would like to know how the medical industry will grow as we are forced to continue massive lay-offs due to decreased revenue.  My hospital has eliminated over 500 jobs and the hospital in the next town lost 950 positions in one month.  Staffing is being cut across the board and we are trying to limit the use of all supplies.  Medicare pays less than the care costs and private insurance companies follow the example set by Medicare.  We haven't seen anything yet!!  The next few years will devastate health care as we know it.  The jobs are created only if there is someone willing to pay for the service, not because there is a need.  Nobody works for free.  Praying that I don't get sick.

Yes because it is a new year and for all of us who are looking for a career change in hopes of making ends meet, becoming a dentist, physician, pharmacist, or a physical therapist is a no-brainer.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics fails to mention that most of the brand new software developer positions will be outsourced overseas.

I would have thought democrat voter would have been on the list.  The benefits package, medical insurance, food, schooling, retirement program,  keep going up each year, there are a large number of tax exemptions, there is a large unionized voting block to protect the pay and the benefits, you have powerful advocates across all branches of government, and you don't have to produce a product that benefits the people paying for your lifestyle.

Of course this is supposed to be a list of jobs not careers.

Don't fall into the trap of going to pharmacy school!   There are many, many more pharmacy schools now, than in the past and they are cranking out so many pharmacists that the job market is already glutted and wages are already taking a nose dive.  Thank goodness I am within five years of retirement.   My company has already given its pharmacists the "there are multiple pharmacists wanting your job, so you better watch it" speech, and it's TRUE!  It would be cheaper to fire the old, experienced pharmacists who have more vacation accrual and higher wages and replace them with one of the cheaper applicants who will work for almost anything and are desparate to pay off the $100K student loans they have amassed.    Look elsewhere!!!

Just as we couldn't build an economy solely on housing, we can't build an economy on healthcare either and that is what is happening. This will ultimately end badly for us because things like housing and healthcare are only available when lots of other people have jobs in lots of other fields to generate the tax dollars to supply the populace with these things. HEALTH CARE IS A GOVERNMENT SERVICE because medicare and medicaid are what reimburse doctors, etc. for their service. HOUSING IS ALSO A GOVERNMENT SERVICE. Without Fannie and Freddie (government owned agencies) backing up all of our mortgages, no lending happens and no houses get built as we have seen for the last 5+ years. Nobody is thinking clearly here. Stop the outsourcing and incur the tariffs on ALL foreign goods and services so that we get our tax dollars back to pay for housing and healthcare. It is so obvious, yet so many people don't seem to get it.

I'll stick with retirement. It pays well and the boss is awesome, besides, my only responsibility is to still pay taxes on it, it's a win-win situation (for the government that is). HOOAH!

How can Obama come out with a new retirement plan while they ignore social security and keep changing its rules

Most of the jobs are in the medical industry.  Funny part is that ObamaCare is going to destroy it because a lot of hospitals will not accept it.  Good call MSN those jobs will shrink soon enough.

Health Care jobs are always in demand as that is the only area, customer is vulnerable, has no choice but seek treatment. There is hardly any competition, very little scope of negotiations, very high entry barriers created by their associations and you can game the system of charging in your favor. There is nothing wrong in being health care professional but the whole industry is making more money than in any other country. So all want to run towards these jobs.

Obama new retirement account is a new ponzi scheme that wants new investors that wont pay out in the end same as social security. How can they raise the minimum retirement age for social security and send statements saying only a percentage of the balance will be left in 20 years and not fix it but instead start a new program.

Health and technology.  People are addicted to their technology and will spend every last buck to have more and better.

The ACA will give more people access to healthcare, whether it's right or not, so more people will have access to such workers.

I didn't learn much here.

I find it funny MSNBC has a article pushing  healthcare except one web job, when Obama Care is going to try and unionize the system next... And Doctors are leaving in mass!
