This seems like a most dissatisfied careers list, not most dissatisfied jobs list.  Was telemarketing looked at?  Highest rate of churn I've ever seen.

This a measurement of whining, not actual unhappiness; all of these jobs except for sec guard require an education and do not require miserable physical working conditions; the real bad jobs are those that are poorly paid and make you work out in the elements; you know, the ones we pay illegals to do!

The BEST job in the COUNTRY is Working at a Collective Giving out Medical Marijunia to Patients :)

Welders are never happy. Why should they be? They get to breath foul smoke and get burned all day. Seldom do they get properly compensated. Wow! Great fun.

And not one person complains about EMS. We put ourself in harms way with no protection for very little pay. The schooling we have to go through the situations we're put in. Without teachers we wouldn't be able to know our jobs. Without police we can't be safe, without EMS alot would be dead, And without the FD. alot of us would be screwed. Complain about an office job, really?!!,

Are you kidding?  I once worked as a security guard at EMC, and I LOVED it!!!  That was, by far, the BEST job I ever had!!!

Considering teaching? Don't unless you can give back 5 to 10 percent of your income for supplies, food, and clothing; work 55-60 hours a week; eat in 15 minute lunches, and get blamed for every everthing wrong in the American society. The kids are great, but administrators have no clue as to how to manage adults. Most have been in education their entire lives and have no idea that teachers are adults and need to be treated as adults and professionals. There is far too little parental support and to much blaming rather than accepting responsibility. Why do teachers leave, because it is limited in career development and because you can never master anything before something new or ten things new are added to your daily workload. Compare what a teacher does to a dentist. If a dentist has a patient and gives the patient a toothbrush and tooth paste and the patient refuses to do the daily maintenance, does the dentist get sued?  No, but the the teacher does! No Thanks...Leaving after 13 years. Should have left after 1.

Customer Service Rep - that's got to be one of the worst. After I graduated with a BA, the job I had went out of business and I needed one right away. There just aren't jobs and moving away wasn't an option so we had to take crap jobs like working in a call center.  I'd say about 75% of the people I worked with had BA's so you feel bad having to take the job in the first place. Callers scream at you all day every day. Nothing you do is right (By the customers or management). Even if you get top scores like I did, management criticizes you constantly & people give you attitude on the phone.  Just because you can't change policy for some pr**k you have to sit there while the idiot swears at you.

It's also low pay and no one except your co-workers consider it 'respectable' work.  I actually had people tell me 'quit and go on Employment insurance for a year'.  Yeah, they thought being unemployed was better than working in a call center.  Messed up.  Awful job, barely more than minimum wage, and no respect.

I teach elementary, it is only for those that are prepared to do a lot of work in the evenings on weekends have a principal in your room all the time and have responsiblity for everything of each child. Paperwork goals homework lesson plans evaluations more evaluations high need students discipline challenges..It's a boatload of work. I taught high school that was a lot better. The summer off is nice, you don't get paid for it but it is a nice break. The kids are fun but challenging. One out of two teachers leave the profession, it is very challenging, you have to REALLY love it.

Nursing, unfortunately, is one of the few professions where new grads are expected to function with the same degree of proficiency and expertise as their 25 year peers.  They are as liable to law suit as the more experienced nurses and constantly "under the gun" to check, double check and do more and more with less and less.
That said, I made it to 25 years with the same hospital, and I hope my attention to and support of our new grad nurses has helped them stick it out.

Social Worker should be at the top.  High burn out rate, low pay,  abused & threatened  by clients, ALWAYS expected to do more with less, public thinks we are over paid.   Administration thinks we are overpaid,  Not the field I would recommend for my kids!

I have been a nurse for 45 years and had many ups and downs due to poor management persons but I would not trade my profession for anything else.

I'm surprised by the ratings.  Claims adjuster should seriously be on this list.
