If I was worth $30 million or more, I certainly WOULDN'T WANT to be in ANY place where the rich are KNOWN to hang out. And in today's climate, I CERTAINLY wouldn't be FLAUNTING my wealth to ANYONE.

I used to live in Rio and my dad is from sao paulo. Its a bit odd seeing them on this list, but just like in the US, the wealth is extremely disproportionate between the classes.

Likely only one of the cities has a low tax rate for the wealthy (Hong Kong).  The rest would qualify to having high taxes especially New York and the cities in California.  The reality is that the rich really could care less about the taxes.  They want the access to make more money and the culture.   The concentration of wealth in these cities is going to grow through the roof.

Most live in Iowa due to the Farm bill and the give away of our tax money for ethenal. The price of land is over $10,000 an acre thanks to the tax payers and welfare to the farmers

Weird, I thought Moscow and Monaco would easily fit in the list. At least Monaco, but none of the two cities.

I have only heard of these places in epic tales of lore.....had no idea they really existed.

Can they be visited? Does one have to produce a balance sheet meeting the requisite net worth?

Am I worthy?

Precisely, WHY I wouldn't flaunt it, they way the political climate is today, I can see SOME governments throwing a few of the "poorer" rich to the wolves. It's happened before, and it can happen again. Look what happened during the 1930s in THIS  country. There was a portion of the rich [especially the self-made rich] that was basically pissing their pants during Roosevelt's tenure in office. He HATED the self-made rich with a passion for some reason.
