my personal best sit-com situation is going with my date from Thursday night-Friday morning to a party put on by my Friday night'-Saturday morning date's company party on Saturday night. Miss Friday night was not supposed to be at her own company's party because she had 'Other Plans.'
Mr. Other Plans changed his mind and did not show up until Sunday, after the party. So Miss Friday night-Saturday morning goes alone to her company party. Miss Friday night made a scene, which she was sure Mr. Other Plans would hear about. He did. miss Thursday night seemed miffed at first, but later told me she wanted to add to the drama. she was cool about the whole situation and thought it was hilarious.
Mr. Other Plans found out about Friday night-Saturday morning until 7:00 a.m. and decided he needed to step up to the plate, play less golf, fish less, hunt less, gamble less and take care of business between the sheets, which he had been putting off. Miss Friday night became Mrs. Other Plans six-eight weeks later.
my divorce papers were signed six months later, after a twelve month wait for them. My ex was in a hurry for divorce until she heard rumors i had been spotted at places not my own at six in the morning three months after she filed. in month four, i was the one in a hurry for the divorce.
Miss Thursday night/Saturday night and i became best friends (with off and on benefits) over the next several years until we both got into stable relationships.
of course, all the gory details of this and other 'miss' adventures will be included in one of two books i am presently writing.
i promise to use proper capitalization, punctuation, etc. in the books, but soweganese spellin' and pronunciation will abound.
