Vermont wants to raise the gas tax again and several other tax increases to pay for universal health care.  Shumlin is a blue tax monger that believes no one should have to work.  No jobs in Vermont because of the cooperate tax.  Vermont is a state of the elderly, drug dealers, disability suckers (so easy to get here), welfare suckers, and drug dealers.   

Taxes are one thing, but fees are another.  I don't mind paying taxes as much when I'm not getting socked every other month with ursury level charges for my car registration, my driver's license, trash pick-up, tollways, etc.

For example, Illinois did not make the top 10 but it certainly can be one expensive place to live when you factor in auto registration three to four times that of many of its neighbors, crappy tollroads, and so many different fees you can't keep track of them all

hell the cost of living is so high in illinois and the wages are so low the business make all the money and you kill your self for peanut shells  gas goes up every day almost 4.00 gal cigs 6.00 pack how can people rent or buy a place on a little above min wage taxes are unreal to my seeing young adults are still living at home this is a spoon fed state

Okay now, has anyone had enough of constantly increasing government dictated tax increases in our state, city and towns? when  do the populous of our states get to vote on whether or not we want these tax increases. we put people in office to save us money! because they say they will before they are elected! but what do they do? They chock us to death with more damn dictated taxes and new laws that are taking our freedoms away. look carefully America, we're slowly loosing our freedoms according to our constitution!
