VIDEO ON MSN MONEY
These articles are correct. I live in southern Spain right on the mediterranean for $800 a month.
That covers rent, 2 bed 2 bath oceanfront apt. with two balconies. Utilities, food(eating in and out). medical insurance and some travelling as well. So keep in mind most of the negative comments come from people who've never travelled any further than their local walmart. It can be done if your not afraid of change.
Hey MSN stop posting these %#$@! dating sights.I want to read coments from real people.
Or are you the ones posting this crap?
Get your info from someone who already lives there.
A better idea would be to do your "own research" and visit some of your selected countries for a few months at a time. Once you have decided on your adopted nation you will need to contact a local attorney who will tell you all the hoops you will have to go through to retire there.
And last but not least -PLEASE LEARN THE LANGUAGE!- or don't expect the new place to ever feel like a second home.
Before I moved to any of these countries I'd like to know how much it cost to bribe the police to keep an eye on you or...not kidnap or kill you....
I'm staying in the U.S. even though I may have to retire to a cardboard box.
