!00% chance you will die. !00% chance your health will fail as your body wears out. Hanging in there to the bitter end proves only that a fool you are. Getting into retirement sometimes is not a choice. Your just too old to perform on the job. Save a few bucks is smart. Saving your health is smarter. Saving yourself from being worked to death is mandatory for retirement.

The world is a safer place.
AL Qaeda has been decimated.
I heard about it from a media report.
And - - as an American.
I'm mad as hell!!!!!!!!!!
I'm the President - - I can do whatever I want.
I will have the most transparent administration in history.
There is not a SMIDGEON of corruption in the IRS!!!!!
The stimulus will fund shovel-ready jobs.
I am focused like a laser on creating jobs.
The IRS is not targeting anyone.
It was a spontaneous riot about a movie.
If I had a son.....
I will put an end to the type of politics that "breeds division, conflict and cynicism".
You didn't build that!
I will restore trust in Government.
The Cambridge cops acted stupidly.
The public will have 5 days to look at every bill that lands on my desk
It's not my red line - it is the world's red line.
Whistle blowers will be protected in my administration.
We got back every dime we used to rescue the banks and auto companies, with interest.
I am not spying on American citizens.
ObamaCare will be good for America
You can keep your family doctor.
Premiums will be lowered by $2500.
If you like it, you can keep your current healthcare plan
It's just like shopping at Amazon
I knew nothing about "Fast and Furious" gun-running to Mexican drug cartels
I knew nothing about IRS targeting conservative groups
I knew nothing about what happened in Benghazi
I have never seen my Uncle from Kenya who is in the country illegally and that was arrested and

told to leave the country over 20 years ago
And, I have never lived with that uncle. (He finally admitted today, [12-05-2013] that he DID

know his uncle and that he DID live with him.)
And the biggest one of all:
"I, Barrack Hussein Obama, pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United

States of America."

starting at age 22, you stash $2,500 every year in a Roth IRA earning an 8 percent annual return

Really? When is the last time you saw 8% annual return on anything?  Get real! Interest rates are in the basement and aren't going up anytime soon.  How about writing an article with realistic figures.

Now the real reason, the government redistributed your wealth to everyone but you. You are taxed beyond the point of saving and when you do save you are taxed again for saving it. Your kids are all grown up and you now pay a school tax for an illegal. Your company let you go for a nine dollar an hour know nothing so you now work at McDonald's for less and watch what little you did save just bleed out. Retire ? Sure when your body is nice and stiff and cold as ice you my friend are officially retired.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
   ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

The retirement age for the next generation is 70... People are earning less and the cost of living continues to increase, making it harder and harder to save. Retirement???

The word will soon be a synonym for death.

The USS America has hit an Iceberg with Capt. Obama and is going down; hopefully some will survive this terrible event in lifeboats, but if Hillary is promoted Captain, because Capt. Obama bailed in a lifeboat dressed as a female, then the USS America will go down with all hands lost to the deep...

You are not entitled to Welfare; you are not entitled to Medicaid. You are not entitled to free legal care, an education, or a cell phone. Anything you get is a gift to you from those who pay your way through life and you should get down on your knees and be thankful. No one is entitled to something they did not earn. Welfare is to be a hand up, not a hand out. It is not meant to be forever, it is not meant to be a way of life. It is not a gift for, or to, your next generation. The world owes you nothing. I owe you nothing. This country owes you nothing except a return of what you have given; nothing more. WHAT HAVE YOU GIVEN?

The government is just a puppet of Big corporations. The reason people will not be able to retire is because we are earning less. There are fewer and fewer middle class jobs, corporations are moving jobs off-shore, Hiring people on work visas for many jobs that they keep here, Eliminating pensions, reducing 401K's, raising benefit costs, and co-pays, reducing jobs and closing plants and / or paying less... All while increasing inflation by raising their prices. They can produce 2X with 1/2 the labor thanks to modernization, so it hardly justifies all of the cuts they are making, especially when they are making 10 year record profits. Sure they are for free trade agreements, it makes it easier and cheaper for them to move off-shore and import to the worlds largest consumer market (Which they are killing) or get their parts cheaper.

The government could fix this easily enough... End free trade agreements, Raise taxes on imported finished goods. If the companies don't start coming back to the U.S. to produce here in order to sell here, then the extra tax revenue will help pay off the deficit. why will this never happen? Because big business (Like Caterpillar) control the government and don't care about the country or the economy. for them it is all about how much can they squeeze out of the American economy before they collapse it.

10 reasons I'll never retire?

Gluttony among the CEO, CFO, VP of Quality, VP of Manufacturing, VP of Marketing/Sales, VP of IT, VP of Supplier Management, VP of Product Engineering, Exec VP of VPs, and then there's the infamous VP of HR....their pillaging of the company while retiring millionaires through stock options has slammed the door in the face of us minions.

What I would do

No government sponsored aid to foreign countries. No prohibiting individual aid to a foreign country unless the country is an enemy.

No tax on wages. No tax on investments. Tax on sales only.

No aid to anyone who is not a citizen. No aid to anyone who is a drug addict or alcoholic, other than treatment for their lack of will power.

All costs for airports (security, flight control) are to be paid by ticket fees and fuel surcharges.

All costs for road construction, maintenance and public transit to be paid by gas taxes, rider fares or tolls.

To be a citizen in full standing you must be born of two citizens or be born of one citizen on United States land. Being born of one citizen in a foreign country or being born in this country of two non-citizens would give you the right of dual citizenship on your 18th birthday; you would not be entitled to any benefits you had not earned.

No elected or hired employee of the government would be exempt from any law.

All government employees would be part of SS. No pensions. Including judges, congress and the president.

The president would be elected for one, six-year term. Could run again in six years after leaving office.

The senate would be elected for one, six-year term. Could run again in six years after leaving office.

The congress would be elected for one, three-year term. Could run again in three years after leaving office.

No lawyer could run for congress or for president. It is a violation of the separation of powers. Lawyers could only be judges.

No federal government employee would be allowed to belong to a union.

Stop all visas for any reason from countries that are hostile to the United States, including Russia and China, and stop visas to anyone who is a citizen of that country.

All students on education visas would be required to check in and update or confirm their addresses twice a year.

Anyone here on a work visa would be required to check in and update or confirm their addresses once a year.

All embassies in hostile countries to have marine security.

Suspend all immigration until we have our system in order. Allow states to activate the National Guard to patrol the borders.

The National Guard could only be deployed in the United States. Each state would be in control of its own units and only the state could have the power to call them up for duty.

People are too ignorant to plan for retirement early enough. They would rather blame everyone else after they realize retirement will never happen for them!

You can save ALL the money you want or can..... but it will ALWAYS be an uphill battle.   There is a group of people that LITERALLY control HOW MUCH your "money" is WORTH!   They can LITERALLY change the VALUE of the dollar, and every other currency of the world.  Your "money" is worthless paper.... the VALUE changes from day to day, and soon it will cost $50.00 to buy a loaf of bread!   Save all you can, because the bankers are busy making your "money" worthless!

I've said it many many times. Unforseen circumstances. You can save for this but, sometimes with the economy and your age it's just not enough.  For me any day above ground means I can still go to my job and make that almighty dollar. I'm past retirement, I still work pt, I don't hate it, but wish I could retire and not worry about the rent.
