4 countries with better '401k' plans

Uncle Sam clearly wants US citizens to put some money away for their retirement. Here is a quartet of nations we could learn a thing or two from.

So if we have "leaders" that are interested in the future of Americans and America, why would they not encourage any reforms to our systems of retirement. By all means please do not go into Democrat/ Republican rant. They both have had turns at the helm and this is where we are at.

Comparing the systems of the 4 countries listed to 401k's is like comparing apples to oranges.  The other systems are government mandated, and are closer to a privatized Social Security than they are to our voluntary 401k system.  This is more an article for Social Security reform than changes to the 401k system.

The joke will be on all of these retirees (including in the US) when defaults mean there is no more money in the funds.  A wave of defaults is coming in the next 3 - 5 years.
