......the yearly income of middle class households can range from $19,178 – $91,704 or a mean average income of $55,441. ....around 60% of Americans consider themselves as middle class families.

What we need to do is take our cities back, I own a house 5 minutes  from a major metropolitan area and 10 minutes to a major metropolitan area that's affluent, there is a hospital anchored in the neighborhood .The problem is this investors are holding on to abandon properties letting them fall apart with no care, the ones who rent ,rent  to people nobody in there right mind wants to move near forcing neighbors to move out as they bank the land for future development.

The ways things have been going for the middle class, retiring at all will mean you are rich.

WOW - big surprise - taxes weren't taken into the equation about where to retire on an MSN web site.

I love to hear new yakas' say that they live in NYC for the art and culture .......... if 1% of that city went to the art shows, theater and cultural events they would all be sold out, nice place to live if you hate yourself!

Or is it simply that the Kardashian family, plays very loud music, doesn't keep up their lawn, and other annoying un-neighborly things like that, that would cause MSN.com to warn people against becoming a neighbor of someone in their family?

Someone mentioned this yesterday already:  (RACISM Is Now A Fashionable Thing), so to speak, since the 2008 Presidential election.

The Kardashian family's involvement with (BLACK PEOPLE) would be the reason MSN.com makes the following critique re: The Hidden Hills Community, right?

(" One possible NEGATIVE: It’s the home of much of the Kardashian clan.")

I disagree with most of the places listed in this article.  If money were absolutely no object, I wouldn't be in Massachusetts, New York or anywhere that I had to endure cold weather in retirement.  If I want to ski, I can fly there and then fly back home where it's warm.  For those who like the cold rather than the heat, enjoy it.  For me, if I have to wear a coat and I'm not on the slopes, I have failed retirement.  Give me Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, or the Gulf coast.

Save as much money as you can and retire as soon as possible.  You will never get back the time lost working.  Get out and enjoy life.

Even if you are rich, why retire ti the places that have the highest taxes. There are a lot of nice places to live where you get to keep more of what you earned and saved!
