I just received an audit on my tax return for 2012 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!!
They are questioning how many dependents I claimed.
I guess it was because of my response to the question: "List all dependents?"
I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants; 3 million crack heads;
42 million unemployed people on food stamps,
2 million people in over 243 prisons;
Half of Mexico ; and 535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate."
1 useless President.
Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.
I KEEP ASKING MYSELF, WHO The Hell DID I MISS?

Are you retired if you go back to work after you "retire"?

For a change nothing shaded to high incomes or investment portfolio.   It seems all items are reasonable and applicable to anyone contemplating retirement.  I do have to wonder why anyone would be contemplating job opportunities or availability if one is seriously looking at retirement.  Why would you retire if you still need or even want to continue to work?

Living in an age restricted community is an asset. No boom boxes, no young drug addicts, living by mature adults and no trash all over the neighbor thrown there by kids. The authors list is pretty good and everyone has some medical defect at this stage in life. Be close to a good hospital. Some places have a shortage of doctors. Sun Shine, Good health & Fun is the goal for most.

My former wife improved both our lives with a divorce. I came out financially in very good shape thanks to a great lawyer. That was 11 years ago, and I worked until age 70, but saved the money from Social Security that I started drawing at age 65. Retired to Central America, and have a significant other who is 33 years younger,  Sometimes the best plan is to follow your gut and work it out as you go along. Diet, exercise, good beer and wine (in moderation), younger women and Cialis all make my retirement years truly golden.

At the rate our corrupt, incompetent politicians are destroyed the US economy, and society in general, you had better pile up some gold in offshore accounts - the way the politicians and corporate fat cats do.

  A location as far as possible from any of Obama's "sons" would also be well advised for anyone that isn't part of the reason they're permitted to exist.  Being incarcerated for defending one's home, self or loved ones from the scum of the earth for doing what our government should be doing isn't a desirable way to spend one's golden years.

 Obama's "sons" come in all colors but they are easy to differentiate from a human.

I am looking forward to retirement but am worried about having enough money so I decided to start messing around on the computer to see if I could make any extra cash. The only site I found so far that actually pays you when you have reached $20.00 which I was able to do in a few hours is   just copy and paste the link and you can actually make a few extra bucks. Helps with gas, groceries or anything else. Still looking for the big bucks but haven't found them online yet, Hope this helps someone.
