DealNews on MSN MoneyAt its core, Black Friday is all about saving money, and there's no better way to save money than to get stuff for free! Below, we've rounded up all the Black Friday deals featuring Buy-One-Get-Ones (BOGOs), gift cards, and outright free items that we could find. Note that some of these offers are only rumors, and we've marked them as such. Be sure to bookmark this page and check back often, as we'll be adding even more Black Friday freebies as we come across them.

Status: Confirmed

Freebie: This doorbuster freebie was actually the first 2013 Black Friday ad: a free JCPenney 2013 Snow Globe. In response to the frustrated outcry of shoppers who went home globeless in 2012, JCPenney has brought back the popular keepsake. No word yet on when you'll have to show up in-store to bag one, though, so stay tuned for more details on how to get yours.

Seattle's Best Coffee

Status: Confirmed

Freebie: Whether you're standing in line at midnight on Black Friday or heading back to the daily grind on Friday morning, Seattle's Best Coffee wants to perk you up with a free sample of its medium roast coffee. Just head on over to its Facebook page anytime after November 13 and sign up to have that liquid caffeine delivered directly to your mailbox.

Half Price Books

Status: Confirmed

Freebie: Once again, Half Price Books offers up a Black Friday freebie two-fer. In addition to a free $5 gift card, the first 100 customers to cross the threshold at 7 am will get a free tote bag, perfect for hauling all your Black Friday loot. Better yet, one lucky doorbusting consumer could find a surprise in their tote bag: an extra $100 gift card!

Shoe Carnival

Status: Rumor

Freebie: If you're hoping to pick up some killer kicks this Black Friday, then swing by Shoe Carnival on Thanksgiving. When the doors open at 6 pm, the first 100 customers will get a free gift card worth at least $10. What's more, one lucky early bird might score a free $100 gift card. As if you needed an excuse to go shoe shopping.

PetSmart

Status: Confirmed

Freebie: Although human presents tend to be at the top of our Black Friday shopping list, PetSmart wants to make sure that your favorite feline or canine isn't forgotten during the biggest shopping day of the year. For the first 100 shoppers, retail stores are giving away free pet stockings pre-stuffed with dog and cat treats and $130 worth of in-store coupons.

More Black Friday freebies:

  • Macy's: Get a free Lil Wayne compilation album when you spend $50 or more

we need a war on christmas! People spending money they don't have on crap that people don't need or want! Maybe we should try to show some kindness to each other instead, Volunteer at a soup kitchen, Make a Toy for a child or donate some food to a needy family. Stop feeding a system that is out of control and only benefits the money changers. This whole thing of shopping on thanksgiving is terrible. I love thanksgiving because you get to see family and friends, watch football, and eat some really good food and you don't have to buy a bunch of presents, now they want to screw that up! Shame on them! Don't even get me started about this "Christmas in July" Crap! Whoever started that should be run out of town!

Give up part of my Thanksgiving with my family for a snow globe? Wow. I guess they are hoping a lot of people don't like their families.

Love freebies when I was in college.  Not anymore, my time worth way more than those "freebies" and "black Friday deals".

Nothing on this list is for me. Not to say for some one else it might be a good thing.

These freebies do suck, except for the PetSmart one, and the Gamestop freebie can be used to donate to Toys for Tots <3

Nothing in life is free, including this stupid "spend a million and I'll give you a dumb snow globe".  What about spending the day with the family, rather than standing in a line to give you money for a snow globe that probably cost you a few cents to make?  Un flippin' real!  I'll bet you a dime to a donut that the CEO's of the stores that will be opening on Thanksgiving day, will not be anywhere around!  Un flippin' real!!!

That is very true, nothing is free.  you always have to buy something or spend a certain amount of money.  And as one of you pointed out, people just don't get it.
