Bing, Google and eBay are offering deals at airports, hotels and on planes.
What do adults want for the holidays?
If they’re travelers, free wireless Internet access in the airport is always a welcome gift. Bing, Google and eBay are all offering free wi-fi at airports and a few other locations -– including in the air -- this holiday season.
- Bing: Best free wi-fi spots
Here are the deals:
- Google is offering free wi-fi at 47 U.S. airports, as well as on Virgin America flights, through Jan. 15. Some of the airports listed always have free wi-fi, but free is free.
- Bing, Microsoft’s search engine, is providing free wi-fi at selected airport locations, as well as some hotels, through mobile advertising company JiWire. To get the free-wi, all you have to do is complete one Bing search.
- EBay is offering free wi-fi on Delta Airlines flights Nov. 24-30 via GoGo Inflight Access.
