Live Nation is ending its summer of No Service Fee Wednesday promotions with a bang on Wednesday, Aug. 12, with lawn tickets for $10 and reserved tickets for $15 for selected amphitheater shows nationwide.

Those prices include all those pesky service fees that can boost ticket prices 50% or more. The sale prices will be valid from 12:01 a.m. to midnight local time.

The deal means a savings of up to 60% on concerts by artists such as Creed, Counting Crows, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Depeche Mode and Lil' Wayne.

The first few weeks of the promotion, No Service Fee Wednesday was actually "Some Service Fees Wednesday," since parking fees and venue fees were still charged, in addition to the "no-fee" ticket price, CNN reported. The company responded with a variety of promotions every Wednesdays, some carrying service fees but encompassing other discounts, such as two-for-one.

If you find a concert you want to attend after the summer promotions are over, be sure to check for specials. LiveNation has been offering four-packs and six-packs of tickets at a discount throughout the year and sometimes has other ticket deals for individual shows.

The summer promotions have been very successful for the company, which last week reported strong second-quarter results, attributing part of its growth to the promotion, which Live Nation deemed responsible for the sale of an extra 500,000 tickets.
