Macy's Black Friday ad leaked

The first major leaked Black Friday ad has appeared online, and it has some worthwhile deals.

A leaked copy of the Macy's Black Friday ad landed on deal sites today, offering up bargains that rivaled its sales last year.

The store will open at midnight for Black Friday, with its best "morning specials" running to 1 p.m. that day, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Department stores typically take a back seat on Black Friday to discounters such as Wal-Mart and Target, which offer a broader range of bargains from clothing to toys to electronics.

"I don't think there's one item that's going to draw a huge mass (of people)," says Michael Brim of BFAds.net, which posted the ad this morning.

But Macy's is doing its best to keep up, offering buy-one-get-one-free toy deals, half-price boots, 10%- to 15%-off coupons, and free gifts.

Macy's might not have that great deal on a cheap tablet or other electronics, but if you're in the market for brand-name apparel, watches or small appliances it's probably worth a stop.

And shoppers who don't want to brave the crowds at stores can easily identify the "Web ID" numbers of each item, to look for the deal online.

A second section of the ad, with sales for the rest of that long shopping weekend, is expected to follow in coming weeks.

A few of the hotter items in the Black Friday ad include:

Bulova men's and women's stainless steel watches for $99 (regular $250).
Kitchen Aid KSM75 Classic 4.5-quart stand mixer with tilt head for $199.99 (regular $279.99).
Girls' puffer coats for $16.99 (regular $80 to $85).
Sonicare 5300 Essence electric toothbrush for $39.99 (regular $79.99).
Tag Fairfield 5-piece luggage set for $49.99 (regular $200).
Sterling silver engraved four-photo locket for $59 (regular $200).

Black Friday is a joke. An example being the Kitchen Aid mixer at Macy's ( leaked ad ) for $199. That is the price at Walmart today. I noticed this because I have been shopping for one at a good price.

Many of the items at alleged great prices sold on Black Friday are often much cheaper after Christmas. Celebrate Christmas on Christmas day and exchange gifts on January 15th. The meaning of Christmas will be more apprecited and you will save a ton of money.

No wonder China is firing up the cheap facsimile export goods factories! There's still a dollar left in our economy somewhere out here and those leaked ads are gonna draw impulse buyers like flies on shipt.

Does anyone get the idea that firing Macy's executive body for such a dumb ploy would be a good thing today?

Well this just screws up everything... here is ad gets leaked before the Minimum Wage sales people can swap out last year's price tag for this year's one with a mark-up so it sells on sale for what it was listed for before!

Can you imagine that they found a way to whet the consumers apetite for the holidays even before Halloween. OK pagans, keep trying to find salvation in consumer goods and wonder why the rich get rich and the poor get poorer.

Oh and be sure to put up your Christmas lights early to pay homage to the sun otherwise the days won't continue to get longer after December 21st.

When are you people going to wake up and realize that as far as Madison Ave., Hollywood, and the politicians are concerned they rate the average mentiality of an American who is working and able to vote at about twelve years old.

Don't spend money you don't have on things you don't need to impress people you don't like.

I think we should skip thanksgiving all together. Make the unwanted relatives stay home so that we can go Christmas shopping for them earlier! I am sure I am not the only person that would rather save 5 bucks then to spend a quality dinner with family!! In fact lets get rid of the family values, wait we have already!! yippy! That's what this country needs!
